I honestly loved this place the enchilada suizas were really good, although many people say it’s pricey, it is a restaurant with very modern interior and is exclusive, there is only 8 of these restaurants and I think for the food and experience the price is reasonable. My only complaint is the wait time we waited more than an hour and were only five people. I would definitely recommend taking pictures it’s so beautiful inside. There is also a bar area with all different types of liquor you can enjoy of.

The atmosphere there is very nice; ideal for dates, professional dinners, or friends’ gatherings, and the service is professional.
There is plenty of parking in the Westfield parking (first 2 hours free), or if you are in a hurry, they also have valet services at the door, which is a great convenience.

I got to celebrate my birthday in style at Javier’s Restaurant in La Jolla, and it was truly unforgettable! The food was absolutely on point, with every dish that hit the table being a flavor explosion. The service was top-notch, with our server going above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. They made my birthday evening awesome! If you’re looking for a special spot to celebrate a milestone, I highly recommend Javier’s!

You are paying for the atmosphere. The presentation of the food was nice, but the flavor left much to be desired. It is overpriced and subpar: the mole (pictured) was thin and salty. The tortillas were not freshly made and tasted like the cheap store-bought ones. An $80 meal of steak and shrimp included two shrimps and a small steak. The carnitas (pictured) were good, but the beans that came with them were very salty. Overall, the price did not match the quality of the food. The one thing that was up to the price standard was the service, which was friendly, cordial, and attentive.

Had a great time, great food, awesome drinks and even better mood in the place. Then why 2 stars? I do not like and even hate when they bring you the check before asking for it and they even told me that other people are waiting for the table. I find it mediocre and in bad taste. We were going to going to keep ordering drinks and so on but the moment they told us that they killed the moment so we got out of there in 3 seconds. Great place but ended in a bad note. So sad that such a great and promising place has such a bad taste in treating clients.

The food at Javier’s is delicious. It’s pricey, but worth it for a special occasion. Alcoholic drinks are around $20 each. My niece ordered the taquitos (see photo), and I ordered the Trio de Enchiladas del Mar. The crab and other ingredients tasted very fresh, and the salsa was excellent. We chose to eat there for the atmosphere and the food, and it delivered. That said, it was louder than I remembered. We had a group of eight, and it was hard to hear the person sitting next to me.

First time coming here with my gf. My first impression was the interior design of the restaurant, very classy and beautifully decorated. Was expecting the menu to be really expensive but to my surprise it was fairly priced and the food and service were . I give this place an A+. Our total meal with alcohol drinks totalled to less than 150 for 2 people, not including tip. Not bad at all.
