I do not recommend this, if you are going for Nihari.
I am a big Nehari Lover and always look for Nehari places.
Javed was such a DISAPPOINTMENT
1) It tasted like a normal curry no kick or taste even close to the Nehari
2) Meat was tender but tasteless seemd like it was boiled separately
3) Nehari is always served with an oily layer which gives rich taste but not here
4) Worse part it was served as room temperature, supposed to be really HOT
5) Biriani was average & small portion
5) Service was so slow took 20+ minutes on late Sunday afternoon and when it was completely empty
Ambiance was ok but if you can’t do justice with the food nothing else matters
I recently visited Javed Nihari and it was absolutely worth the trip—I literally flew in from California just to try their Nihari, and it did not disappoint!
The Nihari was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked—authentic taste that truly stands out. The Goat Korma was equally amazing, tender and full of spices that hit just right. You can really tell they maintain quality and tradition in their food.
The ambiance was clean, welcoming, and comfortable for families. On top of that, the service was excellent. A special shoutout to Bilal at the counter—he was super friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommended for anyone craving real, authentic Pakistani Nihari in Houston. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
It was enough for 2 people.
The taste of the nihari was very good. The spice level was just right not too spicy and not too bland.
Highly recommend.
Rude service, no dinning experience with wobbly chairs, dirty restrooms. The Nihari was terrible, served in open plates that gets cold fast. The meat had a smell to it. Complained to the front but did not care or thank us when we left. There was so much oil and almost no meat. The goat curry was full of bones and fat. I will not return.
