Had SUCH a wonderful time at Java Saga yesterday! It was my friend’s birthday, so when we surprised them and the staff overheard, they made them a cream soda as a birthday treat. ABC sandwich was delicious as always. Fries super fresh and crispy. Amazing service from whoever took our order and made my friend their treat.

One day I was really craving that classic Taiwanese-style fried chicken cutlet, and Java Saga’s version truly hit the spot. The crispy golden crust paired with their signature five-spice seasoning made it flavorful, slightly spicy, and absolutely addictive—one bite just wasn’t enough.
I also tried their Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice), which is such a Taiwanese staple. The minced pork was rich but not greasy, perfectly coating the rice, and the combination with quail egg and pickled cucumbers added a nice balance of flavor.
Lastly, I loved the creative touch on their packaging—the doodle with “Everything is delicious” really stood out and made the whole experience even more memorable.
Overall, a great spot if you’re craving authentic Taiwanese comfort food!

This is one of my new favorite places to eat. The food is inexpensive and surprisingly filling. I ordered the ABC combo that I saw on Instagram since I wasn’t sure what to try, and I also got the Taiwanese chicken nuggets—I’m not sure if that’s the actual name.

I have been going to Java Saga for years–takeaway usually at the old location, and both takeaway and dine-in at the Buford Highway location. Highly recommend the Taiwan #1 Hot Chicken (I always get the crypto level heat) and the loaded fries. You will not be disappointed! It’s distinctive and always excellent!

If you’re looking for a really great (but kinda messy) chicken sandwich, this is the place to go. The food is really good the service is really good. There’s very little indoor seating if that means anything to you. Highly recommended we will be going back.

Finally tried Java Saga and it was just as good as I hoped it would be.

Small little place with minimal indoor seating but a few tables outside in a covered patio that were all occupied.

Tried the ABC sandwich, regular hot, which was absolutely colossal. The chicken was easily the size of two regular sandwiches at Chick Fil A.

Super crunchy breading and nice juicy chicken, definitely thigh meat. The slaw and the sauce on top were delicious and the bun held up well despite the moisture.

Got a cold brew to go which was very good. All in all a great first impression. Excited to go back and try their other dishes soon.

I really liked the basic chick sandwich combo with the drink update for the bobo tiger’s blood! The chicken had great breading and flavor and the sandwich itself was a huge portion. The fries were crispy and delicious, pairing nicely with the white sauce they served it with. The bobo tiger’s blood was very sweet, I think it was some sort of brown sugar milk, but the boba balanced it nicely but not being too sweet. The outside seating was nice in the evening, and the sandwich was a little messy but very good. I recommend stopping by for a filling and delicious chicken sandwich!

I read about the ABC chicken sandwich at Java Saga on Yelp as one of 3 sandwiches in GA you must try. Yesterday I stopped by Java Sage for the 1st time to try this sandwich. The location is small with some inside chairs and outside sitting. A nice young lady at the counter told me the sandwich comes with a hot seasoning or without she suggested this time I get the sandwich without the hot. I sat down and the sandwich was brought to me and it is a pretty big sandwich. My verdict is the sandwich was a good chicken sandwich not great but good. Try it for self

This place has such good Taiwanese popcorn chicken! The sandwiches are so big I felt like I needed to share it. This is legitimately the first place I think of when I want a fried chicken sandwich and I can’t wait to go back ❤️

I love their food, especially the chicken nuggets, the braised pork rice, and their fried chicken is to die for. They have this outdoor seating that’s enclosed with heater (it is winter right now) so it is comfortable to be there if you want to dine there. Employees are friendly, service is also quick. Definitely authentic to Taiwanese street food and snacks.
