Food was good, got pork roll egg and cheese. The coffee was decent. Service was good. Very convenient place to go. Street parking and good atmosphere.

Sometimes the best discoveries come by accident. I was in a rush, but wanted to get an iced coffee. It just came about that this place, Java Dave’s just popped up in front of me. I went in, and was just simply impressed by it. I immediately liked it, and in addition to my coffee, wound up in addition, getting their signature breakfast sandwich, the Java Dave’s, a great combination of pork roll, egg, cheese, and a full sized hash brown. The sandwich was quite substantial, and done well. With the great sandwich, the coffee became secondary.
As far as atmosphere goes, I can truly say that this has all the ambience of a neighborhood breakfast joint. Everyone is in a relaxed mood, and the service greeted me like an old friend. Things like that are essential to a good time, and Java Dave’s gave me just that.

Nice little spot 4 coffee which I enjoyed very much & they also have a nice selection of breakfast & lunch sandwiches
Location is very near Raritan Bay Waterfront Park to stop in on your way after going for a walk/stroll, or before 4 ur Java fix on the cute little Main St in South Amboy.

Nothing fancy about the coffee shop, but it is clean and cozy with few tables and chairs and plenty of pastry options to choose from. I tried the tiramisu and it was good! They also make sandwiches, but I did not have one. Only stopped by for coffee/dessert.
Iced coffee is excellent! not the watered down iced coffee from so many other places.
Will be coming back as long as they remain clean and make good coffee.

Hidden gem!! Nice little coffee shop tucked away on a beautiful main street. Coffee was unique and delicious. Friendly service! Even gave my youngest a bag of chips. Enjoying a coffee while walking the strip starts here.

This is a small little deli on Main Street – glad I found it! I always try to find local coffee shops no matter the area I’m in and this place was a sweet little gem! The coffee was excellent! I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area or close by.
