Since retiring and moving from restaurant-rich Southern California, we’ve found no place any better than Jason’s Deli. Matter of fact, I can’t think of how any place could be better! Great food at reasonable prices, quick and accurate service, friendliness, clean (and NO tables left piled up with used dishes and detritus from a finished meal), and clean restrooms—who can beat that?

I love Jason deli my husband specially takes me after surgery and today it was busy a bus came with a basket ball team and we ordered before them our sandwiches took a long time to get out and they was so skimping with the turkey meat it was so disappointing I had fast all day and this was my first meal and my sandwich wasn’t as good or as fresh as usual and I had to ask for dipping sauce for my fruit my soup wasn’t that good either today they just dropped the ball don’t think I’ll be going to that location again. I also tried talking to the manager I believe his name was Steve he was to busy to care just very disappointed. I did post a picture of my sandwich

We were in San Antonio for Christmas and to celebrate our December babies birthdays. A favorite go to is always Jason’s Deli. I would go just for the gingerbread muffins on the salad bar. Those are my favorites! The staff was so friendly, helpful and attentive. The restaurant was clean and just a great atmosphere.

Arrived on October 23, 2025 at about 12:25 pm at Jason’s Deli #261 at 5819 NW Loop 410 San Antonio, Texas. As usual our orders were filled promptly and we proceeded to enjoy our bounty! We ordered a Brownie but they forgot to bring it with our meal so I went and got it from “Chris” at the counter! My wife enjoys the Brownie while I help myself to the free Ice Cream. Or should I say “Slushy”! The three servers on the Ice Cream “ Slushy” Machine were dripping which means the temperature was too high to keep the Ice Cream at the correct cold serving temperature. We had quit coming to this Jason’s Deli because of this tiny Customer Service Failure! We switched to the Alamo Ranch location because of this issue. We had been faithful Customers until many many months ago when the Ice cream machine was an issue and had been shut down for repair. The only reason we stopped this day is because we were driving by that location and we decided to give it a try again! Restaurants like this set an achievable standard that satisfies Customers expectations of service and food quality! They failed again! So! Why is it so important to fix a little old Ice Cream machine? It asks the question about Customer Care but more importantly if this little issue is not looked and fixed and NOT considered important, then what else is going on (not good) in the kitchen that is not up to “JD” Standard but still served as Jason’s Deli Standard? I saw other Customers who got Ice Cream who took a look at the mushy slushy consistency and the two different Customers shrugged their shoulders and walked off with “that” disappointed look on their face. Next time we will go to Alamo Ranch or to other Jason’s Deli throughout Texas on our many travels! They meet the QUALITY Standard! FIX IT!

Ordered chicken Panini and a Turkey Wrap and a Side Salad Bar
The cook needs to be trained how to do turkey wraps as it was very poorly made. It was almost Flat I was very disappointed eating it ended up taking it home and gave it to my dog. It was DISGRACEFUL
The Panini was fabulous and the salad bar was amazing. Ice cream machine swirl wasn’t working – vanilla only.
They ask you to tip them when you order I was tempted to ask for the tip back.

Jason’s Deli is always a favorite of mine! The salads are consistently fresh. They offer a variety of vegetables and salad dressings. I was a bit disappointed today. There were no boiled eggs on the salad bar! I haven’t been to Jasons deli in a while, so I’m not sure when they stopped serving eggs. It does disappoint me though!. My friend had a tortilla soup and said it was really good.

I was extremely happy with my visit to this Jason’s Deli. I just moved to this part of town and we we occasionally go to Jason’s a Deli, we just hadn’t been to this one. I was impressed. Franchises can be different due to the owners and/or managers that work there. It was very clean inside and they brought out the food quickly. Everything tasted really good and we were very satisfied. It’s a five star for a Jason’s Deli. If you like Jasons Deli and you’re in the area, I’d suggest stopping by.

Went in for lunch, pleasant lady behind the counter took our order, very understanding and helpful. Sat down and didn’t have to wait to long for our order. When our food arrived the presentation was divine and the food was delicious.

This is always a great place to go for a nice fresh salad. Although I really enjoy the soups and the sandwiches as well. First day to try the pot pie soup and it was a winner. Full disclosure, I’d be real happy just to eat that pillow of dough by itself and maybe a little bit of butter LOL. The salads- I always start out thinking healthy, it does have greens after all LOL, but once you start seeing all these other choices I just keep adding and adding. Layering until the green is lost. And those little cornbread muffins, well they’re just adding insult to injury. Today I didn’t have the chocolate ones although those are great as well. Taking the chocolate ones and crushing them into a bowl and then adding the free ice cream and nuts on top, just throwing that out there LOL.
