Service was amazing! Went off peak hours on Valentine’s Day. Jesse was very helpful with the menu and questions. CJ was very attentive maintaining the salad bar and dining area. Restaurant was clean inside. Would recommend!

Upon entering the establishment, I observed that it was largely empty, with only one table occupied, yet there were at least six tables that had not been cleared. It appeared that all staff members, including the manager, were preoccupied with their mobile devices. The cashier, in particular, seemed unaware of my presence due to her engagement with her phone. Subsequently, the manager gathered the attention of the staff to jest about one of the younger employees appearing aged, before returning to watching videos on his phone. While the food was enjoyable, the dressing for my salad was unfortunately omitted. Consequently, I would be hesitant to recommend this particular location.

This place was absolutely amazing has a huge salad bar with endless selections. A huge plus if you’re trying to be health conscious. The staff is absolutely wonderful.

Came in late and had the salad bar. Everything was still nice and fresh and well stocked. Husband got a sandwich which came out quickly and was very good. Manager was very attentive and made sure we were happy with our food and orders. We watched him happily interact with all the customers in the same manner.

Ordered through door dash, and I have to say although expensive cause of door dash my salad was amazing. I had gotten salad mix, boiled egg, olives, artichoke, bacon bits, croutons, carrots, cheery tomatoes, and chicken with ranch of course. Ranch came in a decent size cup too so no need for extra, the ranch was yummy. I wish I had taken a picture but I was starving lol the presentation of build your own salad was impeccable. With lots of yummy choices to choose from and there is no charge for a lot of choices. i did add chicken protein and that wasn’t a lot either. They gave me garlic toast point with it also =) Well done Jason’s deli.

I come to Jason’s deli a good bit as I love the price and food portions for the managers special as it works perfectly for me. I wanted to bring attention to a specific employee, Jesse. The moment I walked in (typically as he always does) greeted me and helped me make a decision on what I wanted. He is very knowledgeable as well as the little guy behind the sandwich station, though I’m not sure of his name anyhow, I hope Whomever needs to see this does and that he is rewarded graciously!

I left a review on their survey they emailed me. I googled the best chicken soup near me and Jason’s Deli was one of the first on the list. The soup tasted like it was canned and reheated several times. The croissant on the chicken salad sandwich was stale. The strawberry shortcake was delicious. My roommate got a half and half. Turkey sandwich and mac and cheese and he said it was delicious. Definitely not the best chicken soup any where.

Update 2025: We revisited Jason’s and the experience was much better than a year ago. Service was quick, food was tasty. The dining room was full and overall the dining room was clean. We plan to revisit again.

Jason’s deli was a favorite spot for us prior to Covid-19. This location is the only offering near us. We recently visited the restaurant and were shocked. I understand the lack of help these days but service was lacking (it took 25 mins to receive our food with no one in front of our party.) Both restrooms were in disarray, tables were dirty, food on the floor and the salad bar was missing items. The drink station was a mess with liquids all the way down the bar leading to the ice cream station.
The time of day for our visit was 1900. I’m not sure if we’ll visit again, it was not a great experience.

Overall best place to go if you are down in Wilmington NC. My family of 4 went and was pretty cheap. There was free ice cream and the staff was absolutely great, they were very attentive and made sure our food was good. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t very busy at all. There were only a few couples there when we went. Overall 10 out of 10, definitely would go again when we are back in Wilmington.
