Had their bbq duck, bbq pork and roast pork.
Their roast duck and roast pork was good. Their bbq pork leans more salty then sweet. It’s more of a preference thing, I prefer more sweeter bbq pork. Their prices are pretty good as well.

I purchased 1 roast duck and 2lbs of roast pork today. And was quite disappointed when I got home. The roast pork was all FAT! Never have I ever order roast pork from anywhere that look like this. The roast pork is not displayed in 1 piece like they usually do it when they cut a whole piece . They just chopped a whole bunch of fat and threw it in the box. Seriously. What a scam and bad business especially in Chinese community when all we know is our BBQ. Charging full price of $12 lb for roast pork and selling fat with skin.

In order to get better Chinese BBQ at Chinatown prices you have to drive to Chinatown ♂️. Specifically now the Kennedy expressway is under construction, Jason is it.
The lunch plates with a little vegetable, some basic soup and a BBQ meat is about &10-$12. It isn’t a good value anymore. Tasty but not a good deal.
Carry out only.

Not the biggest fan of the meal I got (BBQ pork and rice) the rice tasted weird with the BBQ flavor on top of the rice, they gave me a soup which had a terrible smell and taste. The pork had a weird taste I don’t think I’ll buy here again.

Chinese BBQ for takeout only. Better than BBQ in Chinatown especially the roast pork and roast duck.

An excellent Chinese BBQ place run by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple. They really know the art of BBQ and everything is cooked and prepared to perfection. The BBQ chef there had been around for at least a decade back from before the current owners took over the shop.
The prices are very reasonable and the taste authentic. The best part is buying BBQ from here saves me the time and hassle of going to Chinatown.

Dishonest company. They keep the good parts of the duck in a container under the cutting board and give the customer the scraps and bones. When you order here, record them when they’re chopping as proof that they’re stealing the duck you paid for! Better yet, tell them not to cut your duck. Cut it yourself at home so they don’t get the chance to steal half your duck!

Nice BBQ items, slightly in the high price side, but patron are willing to pay for it, as nearby competitor is not so nearby and is in fact far away. However, that does not give them an incentives to charge as high as they want. I think their business will be even better if their prices come down. Unfortunately, the store is small and cannot take on more customers and their grill area is small for too many BBQ items.
A bottleneck situations for a more striving business, yet their store is a for profit
Store. What is better is to have customers appreciation program,.the more you buy, the more you save, this brings in regular customers and avoid crowding issues, customers are happy to come often for variety of BBQ items and can save some monies as well. A win win situations, owners are not smart business savoy people. They know only to work harder and harder for their profits. Even on Chinese New Year seasons, they have no gifts, discounts, nice treats for customers and they are opened except for 1st day of the New Year. Feel so sorry and sad for a missed great expandable profits opportunity and rewards for hard working people

I was misled by the name Jason BBQ. I wasn’t anticipating with the name Jason BBQ would be serving Chinese cooked duck and chicken. I was expecting that I would be walking into a good American BBQ style.. I dare Jason to open a BBQ joint in Texas, and southern states especially in the south neighborhood of Chicago

Food was tasty, but the guy serving the BBQ is not using a gloves. He just grab the food with his hands, weigh and chop then put it in the container. Eeew!
