We chose the “Dil Se” experience, and from the very first bite — the kachori — we knew this was going to be special. Each course felt thoughtfully curated, not just in flavor but in presentation. The dishes were served in beautiful, unique crockery that perfectly complemented the food and made every course feel like a reveal rather than just a meal. Watching the chefs prepare and finish several items right in front of us added a wonderful interactive element and made the evening feel personal and celebratory.
The experience moved seamlessly from savory to sweet, ending with a delightful cotton candy paan that was both playful and elegant. It was creative without being gimmicky — every dish still tasted authentic and carefully balanced.
What truly elevated the night was the service. The entire team worked in perfect sync — attentive without hovering, warm without being intrusive. They made us feel genuinely celebrated, not just served. For such an important milestone birthday, we couldn’t have picked a better place.
Jashan isn’t just dinner; it’s a full culinary performance and a wonderful way to mark a special occasion. We will definitely be back and will be recommending the Dil Se experience to friends and family.
We participated in the Dil Se (veg for my fiancé and non-veg for me), which is a 2-3 hour long adventure through Indian dining with well over a dozen courses to enjoy. There was not a single course that I did not find to be delicious; they were all incredible and filled with complex yet familiar Indian flavors. With each item I found myself wondering how it was possible to jam so much taste into each bite. I didn’t find any of them to be overly spicy. Between courses, Prasanna shared history and anecdotes from India and explained how the next dish was prepared with this context in mind. You could tell how passionate he was about Indian cuisine, and it helped me pick out some of the subtle flavors I would normally not notice.
Throughout the night, the service was top-notch. I have dined at high-end restaurants before where I didn’t feel like I was getting high-end service, but at Jashan it felt like the entire staff was eager to ensure that all of my needs were met. Always available, always accommodating, but not overbearing or constantly checking in.
If you’re looking for a fantastic Indian fine dining experience, I strongly recommend giving Jashan a try!
From the start, the owner and chef personally checked on guests, which made the evening feel special and sincere. Their hospitality truly stood out — it felt like being welcomed into someone’s home. The entire staff reflected the same calm, caring, and respectful attitude, creating a very positive and peaceful atmosphere.
The food was excellent and beautifully presented. The Nizami Paneer Tikka was made with fresh paneer prepared daily at the restaurant — incredibly soft, flavorful, and paired perfectly with mint and mango chutneys. The Shiso Patta Chaat was unique and nostalgic, with a crisp texture and rich chaat flavors that reminded us of the famous chaat houses we grew up enjoying. The Ahl-e-Jashan, their signature dish, was thoughtfully prepared and truly felt like a high-end chef’s creation.
To make our anniversary even more special, the owner surprised us with a chocolate cake, and the chef served jalebi with rabdi — light, crispy, and not overly sweet. A very thoughtful gesture that completed the experience beautifully.
Overall, Jashan delivers more than just rich food — it offers warm hospitality, personal attention by owner Pay** and chef Pras*** and a genuine fine-dining experience. Highly recommended for special occasions or anyone looking for an elevated Indian dining experience in Texas
The tasting menu flows beautifully, building from flavorful starters to rich, comforting mains and indulgent desserts that honestly stole the show-mango chocolate and your take on paan-chef’s kiss. Every plate looked like art but delivered big on taste — layered spices, balanced heat, and thoughtful portions. I was stuffed by the 7th course!!! The Chefs and the service staff come talk to you, explaining their inspiration for each course and accomodated any dietary restrictions! We also had surprise courses and a repeat of a course we loved. We could see the thoughtfulness and love that went into creating everything that was served to us.
Service was attentive and celebratory, making our anniversary feel acknowledged without being intrusive.
For anyone saying this is expensive or the portion sizes are small, this place is not for you, please move over.
For anyone saying we can eat better at home, please stay at home.
With menu changing every 60 days, we will be sure to come back!
We tried a range of dishes, starting with the Shiso Patta Chaat, which delivered perfect bite-sized flavor bursts. The Nizami Paneer Tikka had an exceptional paneer texture, while the Bhindi Do Pyaza balanced crisp fried okra atop a soft flavorful curry. The Dal Makhani was one of the best I’ve ever had. The Assorted Bread Basket and the Tharkari Pulao were aromatic and satisfying.
Desserts were tasty and offered the perfect sweet finish to the meal.
A memorable fine-dining experience worth returning for with great ambience, service, and flavors.
We met the owner – Prasanna and his vision for the place is exceptional.
Great cocktail list.
Hard for me to recommend one or two items. We were a large party and tried most of the items on the menu and they were all very flavorful. The appetizer chats come with flavorful mango and mint chutneys. Stand out entrees were butter chicken and paneer which was so soft and fresh. Dal makhani is cooked over 24 hours and all the hard work pays off in the taste.
Deserts are spectacular – highly recommend the ras malai.
Before every dish, took the time to explain the inspiration and elements behind it, which elevated the entire experience and made it feel personal and immersive. The ambience is elegant and calming, perfectly complementing the artistry on the plate.
The ’ passion and hard work are evident in every detail, from presentation to taste. Even the cutlery adds to the richness of the fine-dining experience. Service was exceptional—special mention to , whose attentiveness, warmth, and professionalism made the evening seamless.
This is one of those rare dining experiences where the quality, creativity, and execution make it absolutely worth the price. You leave feeling impressed, satisfied, and grateful for the experience. .
I had reserved the 7-course meal, and wow — every dish was incredible. The flavors were beautifully balanced, and the presentation was stunning. Honestly, we couldn’t even finish everything, but it was such a treat.
Our server was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant yet cozy, perfect for a special night out.
Highly recommend Jashan for anyone looking for an upscale Indian dining experience — we can’t wait to go back!
