Delicious Mexican food. Got the Breakfast burrito. Was phenomenal. But when I got my dish I was expecting Sour Cream & Guacamole on my burrito (which is stated on the menu), but my burrito did not come with that. When I asked the waitress she said that my plate did not come with said items , even though it says it on menu. I Chose not to mention it further.

Our family brunch for four exceeded expectations. First and foremost, the cafe de olla is a must. We haven’t found many places that serve authentic cafe de olla and their version is outstanding. The menu is extensive and each dish we had was delicious. Highly recommend it.

Went to Jarros Café and omg it was sooo good. I got the French toast with café de olla and it was absolutely amazing. The French toast was perfect and the café de olla had the best flavor. The fruit was actually fresh too — not soggy or frozen like some places do. You can really tell it’s a family-owned spot because the service was so sweet and welcoming. Definitely one of my favorite places now !!!

Exceeded expectations!!
Not at all what we expected when we walked in.
Small Cafe with 5 star food. Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs was beyond delicious. Small steak, two perfect over light eggs and comes with small biscuits and gravy. Food quality amazing.
My wife’s Chilaques Asada Burrito was equally as delicious.
We’ll be repeat customers for sure.
Forget Wood Ranch have brunch here.

We visited Moorpark from Arizona, and we fell in love with the food. Great quality, great portions and service. This place is a must-try! Definitely stopping by again when we visit California.

I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I’d give this place a try. The atmosphere was low-key and it’s a nice breakfast environment. I was surprised to see how much more the entire menu costs were compared to the pictures of the menu on a review site. It’s worth noting that Jarro’s Café doesn’t have their own website, much less any kind of a menu posted. So, all that’s available in that regard are just customer photos of the menu… regardless of how old they might be. I’m posting menu pics with this review that are effective as of the date this is posted.
I ordered the eggs benedict, which was all of OK. I’ve had better. Where Jarro’s shines particularly bright is their service. The waiter was incredibly gracious and welcoming, and always kept my drinks filled.
It seems to me that there’s potential here to elevate the restaurant to the next level. If Jarro’s Café put their menu online (including updating it), as well as kick up the meal quality a notch, I’d be happy to re-review and increase stars as warranted.

Went to this new place even after reading some very bad reviews but most good, so decided to give it a try , well it wasn’t good, the workers look like high school kids who have no people or se service skills at all the hamburgers where ok but not worth $15, my son got union rings and I got fries which where dry and we asked for ranch to dip in our frys and union rings and they only brought us one small cup with don’t give youre dry food some life or taste, no free refill from what it looks so we went to 711 for some big gulps we where super thirsty from the dry food, which by the way don’t come with napkins, the place can have potential I can see this restaurant on a t.v show restaurant rescue for reals. Never going back

This was an absolute waste of time and money. The fried chicken and waffle was dryer than the Sahara desert with 0 seasoning i would have to dip the chicken in my water just to get some moisture to the chicken. So I told them to take it back and get my chicken fried steak. That was no Bueno as well. Don’t waste your time coming here. I had to smother everything in gravey to get Any flavor.

No longer going to be our local go to place. Ordered eggs Benedict and a waffle. Waffle was very thin and flat. Hollandaise looked like soup so you couldn’t discern runny egg and sauce. Muffin wasn’t even toasted. I’ve had better from here before. Should have sent back but only time for a quick breakfast. So disappointed.

Wow! I just had their Asada Chilaquiles Burrito – so delicious & full of flavor being combined with their tasty carne asada! Highly Recommended!!
Another very close contender for the #1 dish here is their Grandmas Chile Verde! This plate Always takes me back to my grandmother’s cooking from Mexico! Very authentic and has very rich flavor!
Another great item on the menu is their Chilaquiles Rojos! Very authentic flavor!

A variety of fresh coffee choices delivered in cute unique mugs. Seems like everyone gets a different design. Their best breakfast drink BY FAR is their Cafe De Olla Mexican coffee!! Has a unique coffee with cinnamon taste.
Chicken & Waffles was superb. Waffles are delicious and the chicken is cooked perfectly. Make sure to ask for syrup early too since it’s not automatically brought with your food.
Their oatmeal was very good too. Very large portion to this entre too so come hungry!
