Perfect way to end a long work day. I stopped in on a whim Friday evening after a strenuous work week thinking I’d get takeout. But the warm atmosphere and lively Salsa music drew me in. I took a seat on the screen porch and the chef kindly lit the gas heater for me. I melted into the cushioned bench and was treated to the best roast chicken of my life. The Yucca fries were light and crispy with 3 dipping sauces to try. The side salad was colorful and generous, with a creamy homemade dressing and crisp croutons. A glass of house made sangria completed my meal. When I finished I stretched out on the bench, closed my eyes and was taken to another place by the Latin rhythms.

Fun location but the chicken portion itself was a little small. Let the chicken live a little longer before slaughter! Inca cola tasted like bubblegum… Good but didn’t compliment the meal well. Rice and beans and plantains were delicious.

It’s probably really a 3 1/2 but I think the juice is amazing and she makes them all by hand. So I highly recommend going over there instead of buying a $10 smoothie.
The flavors there on the chicken for sure and I’ll have to go get a different meal that I might like better before I say too much about the food.
If you like empanadas, which I definitely definitely do, this is worth a stop. I spent a few amount of time and Sonata consistently over the last five years and these are pretty authentic so if that works for you, try sausage!

Friend came to visit me from out of town, and we were craving Peruvian chicken! This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! We got the 1/4 chickens with sides. The chicken is so flavorful and the skin for the chicken is amazing. They gave us large portions of beans and rice. I will be back here!

Wow! Just left this place and this chicken was incredibly delicious! Chicken was tasty, juicy and extremely flavorful as were the sides! My husband is Cuban and makes his own beans but he really enjoyed their beans too (which is rare for him). Highly recommend, will definitely be back and plan on bringing my inlaws too (who are also super picky eaters). They were out of the flan, but I bet that would have been delicious- looking forward to trying it out next time. Atmosphere is very cool too. If you’re thinking about going, stop thinking and go- you will not regret it.
Update: I’ve come to this restaurant many times now, always as delicious as the first time. Definitely a hidden gem, try it and I have no doubt you will love it.

Delicious smoked chicken and sides. Chicken was moist, cooked perfectly, and had a great taste. Sides of sweet plantains and yucca fries were very good, especially with their sauces.
Lemonade and passion fruit juices were amazing!
Definitely one of the best places to eat around downtown Dunedin. Great service and atmosphere too.

Went here for dinner last night. The food was amazing. Everything cooked perfectly with a ton of great flavor. I can’t say enough about this place. Definitely give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

We just had a family get-together here earlier this evening and it was WONDERFUL!
The atmosphere has got as much charm as any place I’ve ever eaten. Gorgeous wood carvings and colorful decorations everywhere you look.
The food is amazing. It was the juiciest, most flavorful chicken I’ve ever eaten and the sides were wonderful. Wash it down with sangria, and save some room for an apple empanada.
As for service, it was as good as it gets. Every need was anticipated, and if there was any way to make the meal special they did it.
I really can’t say enough about Jardin De Pollos. Go here once and you’ll be a regular. I wish I could give it 6 stars.
