We came in with a large group of 8, and the service handled our variety of orders perfectly. We tried everything from chicken appetizers and Biryani to Haleem and Tandoori Chai.

I personally had the Lasuni Soya Chaap and the Hyderabadi Spicy Dosa, both of which were excellent. The Soya Chaap was easily the highlight of the day – so much so that I grabbed an extra order to go for my wife, and she loved it just as much! Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic flavors and great variety

Absolutely loved the dum ka keema and mutton biryani here. The keema was slow-cooked to perfection—rich, aromatic, and packed with traditional spices without being overpowering. The mutton biryani was equally impressive: tender meat, perfectly layered rice, and that authentic dum flavor that’s hard to find. You can truly taste the freshness and care in the cooking. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates real Hyderabadi-style flavors

I’ve ordered from Charminar multiple times before, and honestly, I used to love their food. Previously, I ordered Mushroom Angara and Lasuni Soya Chaap, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. I had been craving them for a long time, so I was really excited to order the same items again today. Unfortunately, this time the experience was extremely disappointing.

First, the Mushroom Angara container lid was labeled Chicken Angara, which was already concerning. When I opened it, the contents didn’t even look like mushroom or chicken. The dish looked completely different from what I had ordered earlier, which raises serious concerns about food quality and order accuracy.

Second, the Lasuni Soya Chaap was overly oily and didn’t taste fresh at all. After eating just a small portion, I started feeling uneasy and my stomach got upset, which is very disappointing and concerning from a food safety standpoint.

I’m really disappointed because I’ve had good experiences with this restaurant in the past, but this order felt careless in preparation, packaging, and quality control. I hope the restaurant looks into maintaining consistency and food safety standards because this experience has definitely made me hesitant to order again.

We have always tried the to go food from here and it was our first time dining in. The staff is really friendly and they try to accommodate most of the requests. We tried haleem here, it was good but felt like it was a little pricy and surprisingly they have rumali roti and it’s a must try. We also got apricot delight, it was decent but it was too sweet to my liking.

After trying so many restaurants in Dallas, I happen to visit Alpharetta Charminar, and wow — this Chicken 65 is absolutely keka! Perfectly crispy, super juicy, and coated with amazing masala. The spice level is full on mass, just like authentic Chicken 65 should be.

Totally paisa vasool and 100% worth the trip from Dallas!

Had breakfast at Charminar and loved it dosa was crispy and the chutneys tasted fresh and authentic. The place has a really nice, calm ambience and feels clean and welcoming. Grabbed biryani to go too, and even the takeout packaging was solid and well done.

No second thought..food was great. The Malai Soya Chaap was well-marinated, soft, creamy and packed with flavor. When I took the first morsel of chicken dum biryani, I’ve felt like eating biryani at Good restaurant in Hyderabad. It was aromatic and had the perfect balanced of spices. However, the service was terrible. We were not even served water and the staff were completely inattentive. A big 0 for management.

Visit 2: tried the goat haleem this time and it’s amazing. Perfectly cooked.

Usually I don’t review the places much but I wanted to give it a review because I liked the place and people here. The ambience is great here with good interiors and the lighting is great not like other Indian restaurants. Another best part is I see lot of non Indians here enjoying good time unlike other Indian restaurants. Coming to the food, their tangdi kabob starters and dum ka chicken and malai kofta entrees with garlic naan and it’s the best kebob i ever had in the Atlanta metro. My kids loved the malai kofta. We will be back soon to try other items in the menu.

I visited this restaurant today based on a friend’s recommendation, mainly to try the haleem. The haleem was good and met my expectations.

Unfortunately, the chicken biryani was quite disappointing. The chicken piece had a bad smell, and the egg tasted spoiled, which made the dish inedible.

Food quality and freshness are extremely important, especially when it comes to non-vegetarian items. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their quality control to avoid such experiences for other customers.

Very delicious and authentic hyderabadi goat dum biryani. The ambience was great too. I also ordered chicken 65, haleem and achari mutton. They were great, although haleem could have been better. Great experience, will definitely visit again for the biryani!
