My husband and I are both completely dumbfounded by these good reviews. This was absolutely terrible! We started with a salad with ginger dressing, the dressing was good but the lettuce was swimming in water. It went downhill from there. We moved here from Augusta Ga where there was a phenomenal hibachi express called miyabi Jr. This was nothing like that. If you are expecting hibachi like what you get at a Japanese steak house this is not it! We could not even eat it. My husband got steak and scallops. The scallops were like frozen bay scallops you would find in the grocery store and were the size of mini marshmallows. Not what you would expect at a Japanese hibachi express. The steak was either skirt steak or stew meat. This came with steamed flavorless vegetables. That is not hibachi. Chicken had a weird texture and taste. The rice seemed like they threw some steamed rice back in a pan and hit it with some soy sauce. I really have to wonder what these people leaving good reviews eat on the daily. This was like BAD Chinese food posing as Hibachi.

Honestly extremely impressed with Japanese Express. Placed my order online, and it was ready 10 mins later. The food is great! We got a miso soup, 6 crab Rangoon, a fried roll, and a chicken hibachi dinner for $30. For the price, I’m happy with the quality. I highly recommended it!

The Crawfish Love roll was fantastic, but I was highly disappointed with the Caterpillar roll – it was mostly cucumber in the middle, very little eel meat for a specialty roll. Service was very quick and friendly, and the mural on the wall is interesting to say the least. Will eat here again, but won’t waste my money on the Caterpillar again.

This was my first time going here but definitely not my last.The costumer service was amazing.The food was divine. Especially the ginger salad and the chicken tempura roll.I ate here with 1 other person with me and a to go order for another person and the total was very reasonable for 3 people.I love it here and would go again.

The food is great! For the price you pay the food is excellent! I ordered spring rolls, miso soups, Roll Tide Roll & the Volcano Roll, all delish. The staff is very kind & honest. I ordered online and left an 18% tip. After I arrived at Japanese Express, gave my order# then my card, paid and left a few dollars more tip. The young girl whom helped me let me know I had already tipped online so I just needed to sign. I said thank you so much for your honesty & kindness! I used to be a bartender/server so wanted to leave a lil’ more. She said thank you so much! It is very appreciated. Great place & staff!

This place is beyond my expectation during my road trip to Florida. We had steak and chicken hibachi, shrimp and steak hibachi, and sushi roll was very delicious! It’s very authentic. Highly recommend!
