Absolutely delicious food! Lamb Angar and butter chicken were really flavorful. I got the butter chicken a 3 out of 5 of spicy, and it was a bit too much for me. So if you don’t like spicy food very much, then I’d recommend getting your food at a 2 or lower. The atmosphere was beautiful and everything was so clean and comfortable. And the chai tea was amazing! Would definitely recommend it!

I wanted to try something different and was recommended the chef’s specialty. It was so good. The portion was huge. Definitely enough to feed two people or one hungry person. The spices were popping and eating it was such an enjoyable experience. The drinks are also very good. The staff was attentive and kind. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

We were in Richmond and stopped here for lunch after reading the reviews. They did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The service as well as the food amazing. I’m so happy we stopped here to eat. If you are ever in the area and in the mood for Indian this is the place. You will not regret it. Thank you to Jannat Indian cuisine for being amazing!

I listened to the reviews and I can not be more pleased. This was my 1st experience eating in the Indian cuisine. I am no expert, but I do no good food. The food was amazing! The décor was subtle but elegant. But the asset of the restaurant was the service. Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted by a most gracious host. She was warm and welcoming. Her smile was genuine. She was very helpful and informative about the dishes, as it was my 1st experience eating Indian cuisine. We asked the bartender for drink recommendations, and we were thoroughly pleased with how well our drinks paired with our entree selections. I especially loved the chutney appetizer that was brought out after we were seated. The portions were large, and I definitely could not finish. I will definitely be returning!

Based on the reviews I was very excited to visit Jannat. While it was decent, it no way lived up to the reviews I was reading. The apps were the best part of the meal. I would highly recommend the Chicken Takatak and the Chicken Peppercorn. The butter Chicken was ok but the Chicken Masala had quite an off putting aftertaste.

Heard great things about Jannat & just moved close enough to try them out. Ordered take-out 30mins before closing. I have a serious nut allergy & forgot to ask when I ordered. It all sounded so great & I read nothing saying contained nuts. I got home & an hour after they closed got nervous & second guessing. I called the restaurant & someone answered! The gentleman asked me to read him what I got & he answered all my questions. So sweet of them to answer WELL AFTER closing & help.

Excellent authentic Indian food. Great variety of dishes available, at any spice level you want. The staff is very friendly too. I usually do take out, but have dined in a couple of times too. Very nice, modern atmosphere inside. Please support this great local, family owned restaurant!
