We happened to be in the area and stumbled across this deli. We are from upstate NY and are not familiar with the area. We ordered sandwiches and were stunned by how fresh the bread tasted. My husband talked about how good his sandwich was for days. It was really nice to see the pictures by the register that depicted over a hundred years of being in business. The people behind the counter were charming and welcoming. It felt like a place of nostalgia and family. Places like this don’t exist anymore! If we are every in NJ again, we know where we will stop!

They make their own cold cuts amongst other things. They have the best tasting bologna I’ve ever had. The pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are incredible and jam packed with meat. Prices are very reasonable. And don’t forget the kielbasa!
