Me and my best friend went here for a galentines lunch and it was such a lovely experience. The decor was absolutely beautiful and made the dining experience so nice. Our waiter was very friendly and accommodating. We even got gulab jamun on the house for dessert! The food was really delicious and so filling. Definitely recommend.

We ended up here after looking up for an Indian restaurant in Brighton. The ratings on Google were already high but it was a pleasant surprise when the Dahi Puri Chaat was so authentic like eating on the streets of India. The Samosa Chaat was also good with a good taste and texture to Chole. The dish that blew me apart was Dhaba Chicken which was a treasure trove of flavours. I must say that this has to be one of the best Indian curries/ gravies I have had in the UK – hands down. The Garlic naan was also good and as I type – gulab jamun is next. They are awesome! Also, the staff was very courteous! Will definitely come back! Keep up the high standards! Cheers!

Brilliant experience! The food was genuinely authentic — proper Indian flavours, aromatic and beautifully done. You could tell it was made with real care and tradition. But what really made it special was Aakriti and Vivek themselves. They’re wonderful hosts — warm, attentive, and made us feel completely welcome. The kind of people who turn a good meal into a memorable evening.Highly recommend!

It was our first time in Brighton at Jamun and the food was absolutely delicious – rivaling some got the best Indian places I’ve been to. The staff were super down to earth and absolute gems – the recommendations were spot on, they were so fun to chat with and they made us feel so welcome. I would absolutely come here and not hesitate come back.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere.
We had some great recommendations from the staff, young lad called Deep.

We had about 8-9 dishes between us 3 and we were stuffed, from some tasty vegetarian to the Lamb Shank, which was my favourite. Highly recommended.

We recently visited Jamun Restaurant in Brighton and had a wonderful experience. The service provided by Deep was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. On Deep’s recommendation, we tried the Samosa Chaat and the Jamun Cocktail, both of which were absolutely delicious. We also sampled a few other dishes, all of which were impressive in both taste and presentation.

Overall, Jamun is a must-visit restaurant in Brighton for anyone who appreciates great food and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

What a fabulous experience of modern Indian food! Excellent service and delicious food. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff.
I had an introduction to Indian single malt whiskey to conclude the meal and it was delicious! Pic is of the Kashmiri lamb shank, which was very good indeed.

The food was good, although hotter than we expected. The choice was quite low, they have a Vegetarian menu but their is not a great deal to choose from.
The waiter asked over and over for us to get extra side dishes, naan bread, and then extra drinks, a whisky or Baileys to go and although we said no desert the menu was given to us and again he put pressure on us to order from it. It was frustrating having to keep saying no thank you.
They charge 10% service charge.
