Amazing food and ambience.. tried a few dishes and found all of them very nice and delicious..
Would definitely recommend
Only drawback is that I found South Indian food better than North Indian food in the restaurant..so stick to South Indian dishes
What made the experience even better was the staff. They were extremely polite, attentive, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. Their warm and welcoming attitude truly stood out.
Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for delicious food and excellent service. Will definitely be visiting again!
The food was absolutely amazing — rich flavors, perfect seasoning, and beautifully served. Every dish we tried exceeded our expectations.
If you’re looking for great food paired with excellent hospitality, Jamun Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Looking forward to coming back soon
They have a limited seating capacity so expect some waiting time during peak hours but the service is very quick, so it shouldn’t be a long wait. And even if it is, I’ll be worth it!
Jamun ras was delicious.
The reason why I felt this place is super hyped and the owners need to look into is “Quality”.
Most of the dishes like kebab reshmi we were close to 1000rs and the quantity is small 4 bite sized chicken! Similarly in Kerela chicken stew priced same range hardly small 3-4 chicken.
This is ridiculous! 3cm chicken portion for 1000rs in Delhi. Does not seem like the restaurant cared about price to quantity or quality ratio as it would have been easily in negative. The taste extremely average!!!!!!
Hopefully the owners are able to embibe integrity into the system to ensure you visit the place because of food not merely ambience.
The seating is abstract – no uniformity – this attracts me as in a home you do not have uniformity of seating if you have 20-25 guests. You pull in the dining chairs and the sofas, and the chairs from the study or even the executive chair from your desk. Anything that comforts. There were sofas, cane chairs and back rest chairs all to make it a comfortable experience
So if you want fine dining you may be disappointed
Coming to the layout – the tables are neat albeit small, and the cutlery is Copper. Wow. That’s a nice experience away from the regular China or ceramic plates we see nowadays
The instruction to the waiter was ‘badi bhook lag hai, jaldi la do’ and that they did.
We started off on a delectable pata chaat made of 5 different types of leaves. Yum. I generally avoid too much sweet so I thought they could have moderated the sweet in the yogurt. Plus
The Chicken chettinad was succulent – a difficult task actually as the frying and spiciness must be maintained at the same time. Another Plus.
I must mention the Beetroot and Amaranth Gelauti kebab which was yummy. The avocado taste added to the flavourful and palate tantalising, soft kebabs. Plus
The main course arrived, it was a combination of Chicken Curry and Stew – hmm, the aroma was lovely and the taste was amazing. The rice was basic steamed but had a taste to it unlike most long grain ‘basmati GM’ types you tend to get. I wanted to ask them which rice they actually use. It was indeed nice. Plus again
Overall, not only were the portions good, the taste and the palate sensations were indeed aroused
Now the price point – it’s not inexpensive although for fine cuisine, I felt it reasonable and value for money. It is definitely well worth the happy mood you go away with
Will go back for new innovation if they keep me updated on their mailing list!
