Restaurant was immaculate and the ambiance was inviting. Loved the ‘Yaard Vibe ‘ , felt like I was in Jamrock for real. Peppermint tea complimented with brown sugar was lovely. Oxtail was succulent and even the bones were tender. Jerk chicken was on point and taste great. As a plantain lover… they were perfectly done!!! Great job

The jerk chicken was phenomenal, moist, and flavorful. Cabbage was perfect, rice and peas really hit the spot with the extra jerk sauce I got on the side. The oxtails were fall off the bone, and that chicken patty,( I really wanted to try the beef one, but I got convinced by the employee up front that the chicken patty was just as good! Props to you for convincing me, it was well worth it, had plenty of heat! And was clearly a homemade patty. Well worth the 40 minute drive to find some authentic Jamaican food when you get the itch! I’m just glad I don’t like closer or it would be on speed dial. Whenever I get something that really hits, it’s hard to switch it up and try something new. Highly recommend for anyone and everyone to try. Extremely clean facility as well!

I usually give this restaurant five stars and I eat there 3 times a month. Last Thursday I ordered an oxtail platter and a stew chicken platter. Both meats were old. I called the restaurant to make mention of the old food. They would not accept accountability nor did they apologize. They just justified.

I love this place. The food is fantastic, and to me, it’s the most authentic Jamaican spot out here. It’s saved me a drive to Philly. But if I had to judge the site off on customer service alone, it would get 2 stars. And it’s not the people who prepare the food it’s the front of the house. Even the older lady that cashiers will make you wait because she’s on a personal phone call and that’s what stops me from eating there more frequently. Shout out to Omar

This place is great !! We ordered beef patties, ox tails, Mac and cheese and cabbage and everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious!! The 2 women at the counter were so sweet and helpful. The place was very clean and had beautiful music on that made for a great atmosphere!! 10 out of 10, highly recommend!!

I went for a beef patty but they were out. So I got a side of Mac w/plantains. Soooooo good! And they were nice enough to add oxtail gravy to My Mac when I asked and wasn’t stingy with it either. Thank You!! I’ve been seeing the oxtail beef patty all over the internet, hopefully they’ll bring it to their restaurant as well.

I got a beef patty, jerk chicken, mac and cheese, and the rice and peas. The beef patty was flavorful, but sorted of reminded me of the frozen kind. Which is not necessarily bad. The mac and cheese was very good and my favorite dish. Not dry at all and tons of flavor. The rice complemented the jerk chicken very well. The chicken portions were huge and juicy. The sauce was spicy and slightly sweet. Well worth the price for the amount of food you get.

Even tho the oxtail platter only come with 4 pieces they were soooo big and good. I expected to be disappointed because new jersey food normally sucks and Im from philly but that platter was so good the cook must be directly from montego bay “Respect”
