A must stop if your in the area, especially if you love Jamaican & Caribbean food! So flavorful and cooked to perfection. Had the oxtails and the meat fell right off the bone. The mac and cheese was delicious, and the rice was perfect.

Food is way over priced for the amount given I paid 28 bucks for 3 bones and under cooked cabbage with minimal flavor. Cabbage was very oiley too, which is crazy because it’s supposed to be steamed cabbge. Your only allotted one side order, along with rice. The rice was perfect but that’s not the star of the show so who cares? The Oxtail was tender but again not very flavorful. I would have paid more if that meant I’d have a better experience but this is place isn’t providing authentic Jamican food just offering variety to this area and hoping insignificant, sub-par food will be interesting enough to get attention. If the passion doesn’t show up for the food I don’t think this restaurant will stand long, in fact I know it wont!

Best food in Duluth… Hands down. They may not have an item on the day you go in and that’s ok. Better to serve good tasting quality food than to serve less than pleasing food. I’d love to tell you my favorite, but I haven’t had anything that hasn’t been yet.because everything is good!

My girlfriend and I came for lunch yesterday. Everything was amazing. The two guys working were really nice. The restaurant is beautifully painted. It’s truly a wonderful spot. I’d eat there all the time if it wasn’t for the hour and half drive. If you haven’t checked this place out. Do yourself a favor and go.

My wife and I got the curried goat, oxtails, and a summer rum punch. We ate outside – the weather was perfect, and just loved the food. Seriously tender meat with a delightful slow burn heat level. The drink was fun – licorice and candies for decorations.

Ordered delivery cause the food was supposed to be good. Got a jerk chicken sandwich with no jerk sauce, on what was definitely not coco bread. 100% bland, completely dry as a bone. Fries on the other hand were soggy on the outside, but raw in the middle, such that the overwhelming flavor was raw potato. Ordered 2 chicken patties, got 2 beef. They at least had a bit of flavor, but were limp and soggy. 0/10, not a single piece of my meal was enjoyable, which was super disappointing because I adore Jamaican food. Just didn’t actually get anything that resembled it.

Got two great meals for takeaway. Tilapia was well seasoned and perfectly done. Jerk chicken was flavorful and juicy. Rice was tasty, mac and cheese was creamy. Fries were on the soft side, but sometimes that’s what you want. Will definitely eat here again.

We’re visiting the area and most of the other restaurants were generic American burgers, steakhouses and pizza. This place looked different so we wanted to try. We arrived right around 6pm on a Friday night. We got a family dinner for $45 that probably could’ve served 5 people. Everything was delicious! The greens (and I’m not a huge “greens” person) were my favorite! The ribs, mac’n’cheese and yams were amazing. Would definitely recommend.

This place is an absolute gem! We had oxtails with rice and green beans, it was exactly what we needed. We’re still talking about it the next morning. Jamrock has a great vibe and super friendly staff as well. Truly a downtown treasure ❤️
