This is the first time I am EVER posting excellent scores for a dining place bc it is super rare to find yourself in a place that gives such wonderful and complete customer service. I felt like a king from the time I walked in and was greeted to the time I walked out. Servers did a great job, were attentive, and were knowledgeable! The food!! My god— the food was extraordinary. From the steamed beef cabbage, to the wonderfully smoked bologna (I know, I know— but trust me on this; it’s stellar!), to the perfectly seared steak and smoked ribs… it was like stepping back in time where customer service was at its peak and where food was executed perfectly and served with love. This family and establishment serves excellence in ambience, quality, and customer service. Jamil’s is truly Oklahoma’s hidden gem and if you should find yourself in OK— stop by and be ready to be truly blown away! It was a wonderful and truly enlightening experience for my mother and me! Thank you for all that you all do to make this the treasure that it is. I will definitely spread the Gospel of Jamil’s and will also be returning for more.

The people was so nice the waitress who we had she was new but fun she took care of us and you couldn’t tell she was new but overall she was amazing . She was always checking on us and so was everyone else. One of the other waiter even was checking on us as well was manager. The food was great and atmosphere was great as well. This is a really good date night place to go the menu was not big but for the quality of food and how good it was means you don’t need a big menu. But overall we will be back.

When riding by it appears they’re not open but all the activity and the entrance is in the back of the building. The food is delicious. The catfish is the best that I’ve had in the city service is just Ok. The location is very old and unique. I see many more visits in my future to try additional menu items.

Our visit to Jamil’s was a great experience. It has the air of a long time establishment and all the character and feel that goes along with it. From start to finish the service was superb and welcoming. We ordered the rib eye and small filet. Both were tremendous. I enjoyed my wife’s filet the best of the two, but the rib eye was far better than most steak joints. Tabouli, cabbage rolls, hummus and pita bread were provided before the main course and all were enjoyable. Tip of the cap to the hummus for my taste. The menu was not large but varied enough for most taste. I like a smaller menu, usually means those dishes are done well. Our steaks, 2 glasses of wine and a piece of cake were around 175, so know going in what you’re in for, but for an occasion it was a tremendous dinner. Come find out for yourself.

Black Friday my husband and I went here to eat. He had never been and it had been a few years since I had been. The food was as amazing as I remembered. My husband was very impressed. Our meals were delicious and we really enjoyed the hummus with pita bread. Our service was excellent. We felt so welcomed and appreciated. A few weeks later I took my mother and father-in-law there. Again, outstanding service and delicious food. My in-laws are still raving about their excellent experience at Jamil’s. Our family highly recommend this establishment!

EDITED BELOW: In my opinion, this is the best place by far in the OKC Metro area to get cabbage rolls, hummus, or tabouli although it’s a steak place. The only other place that’s comparable or better is in Drumright, Okla and that’s a pretty far distance for me. I have tried few other places in OKC and none compare. I will admit the prices are a little high but other than that, it’s a great place to eat or go for a date night.
EDITED: I’ve been going here for several years and enjoyed their food a lot, but in the last year or so I have not been impressed any of the times I have been here to eat. They raised their prices which is understandable but don’t be skimpy with the food. The cabbage rolls, barely have anything in them, you get more cabbage than anything else. They no longer give a piece of bologna and the tabouli has too many big onions. Service has went down hill too as it always takes forever to get our bill & get it paid. I used to like to bring people up to Jamil‘s to try for their first time but the last several times I have done that they have been disappointed.

This place was on my husband’s bucket list for the bologna sandwich. We drove many miles to get here. Unfortunately, we were too late for lunch, but the amazing staff went out of their way and made him a sandwich, which he thoroughly enjoyed.
