Very nice & clean upon entering.
The mushrooms are amazing.
The grilled chicken salad was just lettuce, tomatoes, cheese & chicken. It wasn’t a large salad for 14.00 and was just ok.
The lite perch was undercooked – was wet not crisp. The perch was not fishy tasting at all and there were three pieces along with 2 sides. I had fries which were hot & crisp and a side salad. The side salad was ample size. The loaf of bread was excellent and came warm.
Our server was good & personable as we’re all the employees.
Not sure about a return trip as it wasn’t impressive enough to leave us excited to go back.

Our daughter recommended this restaurant since we’re here visiting from California and don’t know good places to eat. The restaurant is pretty with wooden ceilings and deer antler chandeliers. Thank you for the warm welcome it made our experience nicer. We want to thank our waitress Janine she was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and plentiful when we come visit my daughter again we will definitely come back. Thank you

This place was very warm and inviting. Customer service was excellent. The food was delicious. I finally got to see what a real wet burrito looks like compared to back home in Florida. I had the pleasure of trying out their Hot Roast Beef with fresh tasting mash potatoes and gravy. Delicious! This was my first time here, and I will add this experience was pleasant and left me with a lasting impression. Job well done everyone!

The omelettes are huge here and none of the sides are skimped. You’ll enjoy the chicken fried steak here and will have a variety of sides to choose to go with it.

Hidden gem in Holland. We eat here once a week or once every other week. The food is excellent every time. We’ve had a slew of things on the menu-fish, burgers, salads, breakfast. The food is nice and hot and they give good size portions. The staff is always super friendly even when we get take out. We always recommend to anyone we know that visits Holland. One of the best!

Amazing restaurant. I’ve been here 3 times and the food Is exceptional every time. Entrees come with a fresh loaf of bread and it’s delicious. My go to is the Mac and cheese, but the tacos on taco Tuesday are also amazing. And the grilled cheese cheeseburger.
My friend also had the steak, and he’s very picky about steaks, he said it was in his top 3 steaks, and it was cooked perfectly.

Cozy and charming. Super kid friendly food, even picky eaters were pleased! I heard comments like “This is the best, macaroni and cheese ever” and “Oh my goodness, this hot cocoa is so delicious”.

It’s been a long time since I last visited James Street Inn, but it was still a popular spot when I stopped by. Despite the crowd, the staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food arrived quite quickly. I had the small size wet burrito, but it was still sizable. It tasted great and had plenty of toppings and fillings. The chips and salsa that came with it were a nice addition. This restaurant has been around a while, and the full crowd on Saturday night suggests that it should be around for many more years.

Very disappointed. When you pay $14.00 for a salad at the very least there should be some nutritious leafy greens. Romaine, spring greens, etc. The salad was all iceberg lettuce, the least expensive. There was also a little cheese, four tomatoes, and some tortilla strips on top. Not impressed! Oh, and the neon orange bread was terrible. Will not be back.

I got the lunch special which was a crispy chicken wrap. The wrap was slightly grilled giving it a nice, crispy exterior. The fries were done just right and seasoned perfectly. Portion size was generous and price was competitive. My server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back.
