The service was understaffed, as we were sat next to a disgusting busbucket full of nasty food. We couldn’t get any drinks because the waitress said there weren’t any clean cups and my first two draft options were kicked. I counted 16 tables to one waitress and one hostess. The final straw was the $21 burrito bowl— check my pics and see for ypurself. Bolton Valley gotta do better….

Amazing place really. I wasn’t expecting a ski mountain to have such an amazing restaurant! The James Moore tavern is fantastic. I ordered the Smashburger with fries and some unique morsels known as duck rangoons. The burger had a crispy patty that was seasoned perfectly, as well as onion jam, a brioche bun, and garlic aioli. The fries were crisp and flavorful and the duck rangoons were fantastically unique and delicious. Sadly they were out of their butter cake but the peanut butter pie was delicious. Probably the best ski food I’ve ever tried!

Wonderful atmosphere on a Saturday when we were here. Food was amazingly good, and the wings were fabulous! Burger was super juicy, all top-quality ingredients.
My wife described the wings as the best wings she has ever had! Lots of great options on the menu. Great beer list as well. Staff and bartender are wonderful. Will definitely be back!

I’ve eaten here many years and the quality of the food isdifferent every year. Tonight I had nachos, and they were the worst nachos. I’ve ever had. Really, for $20, please improve your nachos!! It’s a staple of apre ski food.

My daughter and I went here for dinner when staying at the inn. The place was pretty crowded because of trivia night, but that still doesn’t explain what happened. After being sat the waitress did not see us for 40 minutes. After 30 I went up to the bar and got us drinks. After 35 minutes I flagged down the hostess who was very rude blaming how busy it was, not at all apologetic. It was still another 5 minutes before the waitress came over. She was also very rude making up a bunch of excuses. We would have just left but at Bolton Valley this is really your only option to eat if you are staying at the inn.

Usually have a great time there. Our first bartender Matt was fantastic. Very personable and made us feel welcome. The second one, Brendan not so much. He definitely did not have the right attitude for the hospitality business. Maybe he was just having a bad day?

My boyfriend and I went to Bolton to ski, we wanted to get dinner. This is my second time coming to this restaurant, my first experience was devine however, my second was disappointing because we spent $120 with a to-go order (12 wings and the chicken plate) our chicken plate lacked French fries and Mac and cheese. We did not realize this until after leaving however, your runners and servers need to do a better job of checking the orders (I experienced waiters bringing the wrong food to a table as well).

It’s efficient enough where you don’t waste too much time during a mid-day lunch, but formal enough where you can have an amazing dinner meal with high quality food and atmosphere.
