Nice bar, music was a bit loud for the number of people that were there, but everything was so delicious and the vibe was nice so it really made up for it. Bartender made a good old fashioned with Woodford reserve.

We were dancing and they wanted kick us out for it. Its dead at midnight on Friday night. So….. yeah, don’t go. They are homophobic. The bouncers are the room also kept harassing several other individuals for dancing, even solo. Not a good atmosphere AT ALL.

Love the layout and atmosphere. I really liked the high backed bench seating, Just makes the meal feel alot more private. Food was top notch. The beer cheese and gigantic pretzel were excellent. It’s probably the freshest calamari I have ever had. The joyce burger was juicy flavorful and the toppings were overflowing . Drinks were poured nice ans strong. Our server Stephanie was attentive and gave great recommendations. excellent service all around

So I went this establishment October of 2025 you know having fun Halloween time I dressed up but while being here I was attacked 2 intoxicated people before hand they came yelling at me and security guard was nowhere to be found til I defended myself and fighting them back THEY KICKED ME out knowing I didn’t do nothing wrong but okay cool. So I forgot my item my phone that was my ticket way home. I couldn’t go back in to get it cause hey I got kicked out cool so I went to the back of Joyce and try to get my phone I saw the group there asked where’s my phone and they laugh and attacked me KNOWING that these girls had problems with me security didn’t do a thing! It’s December 2025 my birthday. Nate in front was so kind and told me no so I told him I talked to Stephaine the manger ig she comes out I asked why these people are still allowed in the bar when I’m not and they attacked me? “ cause on your end you were the aggressive intoxicated “ I can promise you yes I was but I wasn’t being aggressive towards no one but giving them energy they were giving me. She also claimed that I gave her attitude. No way it was my birthday and I’m talking business there was no way I was disrespectful to her my best friend is witnessed. I feel like she gave them power for them to do anything they want. I hate to say this but imma have law enforcement into this cause shockingly a gun was pointed to my face when being attacked. I was scared for my life and told her and she didn’t seem to care. I also will have the town of patchouge into this situation 2 justice will be served because these individuals have done a lot of illegal activities and having a bad name for patchouge.

They should absolutely be shut down for over serving their patrons. There have now been 2 young men who have left the bar drunk, drove their cars and one hit a Nassau County police officer and killed her (he was underage so they’re clearly not checking IDs properly), and one young man who unfortunately passed away last night. They don’t care about the safety of the public and their own patrons, they over serve minors, the back patio turns into an MMA ring after 1am and they will continue to serve you until you can’t walk out the bar so they can make more cash. It’s disgusting how they run this place compared to the surrounding bars and they should be investigated on how many DUI accidents and fatalities are connected to people who stumbled out of their bar at 4am and into their cars. They don’t care if you got plastered while bar hopping at the surrounding bars, they’ll finish you off knowing they’re the only bar near Main Street that stays open this late and they know very well that they’re the “after party”once the other bars close and serve patrons who are already drunk.

If I could give negative stars I would. I came last night for the night life and was very disappointed. Me and my friend wore juicy couture sets and were told we weren’t allowed in because we’re wearing sweatpants. I asked to speak to the manager and asked why they allowed several people in with athletic hoodies, but we can’t go in with sweat suits. The manager wearing a red sweater and black jeans came out and said “you guys look amazing but we don’t allow sweatpants.” I asked to see an actual picture of the dress code but it was never prevented to us. Failing to provide the hard copy of the dress code, but allowing “certain people” to go against it is clearly discrimination. You allow grown men to wear a hoodie that can easily conceal their face but 2 females with juicy sweatsuits is where you draw the line? We stepped to the side and watched the bouncer let in 2 individuals one wearing timberland boots (previously against dress code according to a pic online from 4 years ago but who knows now since it’s not posted anywhere and no one showed us ). Since they never showed me a picture of the dress code, they gave me an attitude after asking for it, I genuinely felt discriminated against and will be taking further action. You don’t post the dress code in the window because you pick and choose who you let in. The bouncer said “I can’t let you guys in because I got in big trouble last time I did” so clearly they choose who they let come in. Do yourself a favor and end your might at Meetball around the corner. Way better music, energy from the bouncers, and they don’t treat you differently based on how you dress or look!

I’m usually a pretty tough critic, but I have to say I’m a huge fan of this place. The super sweet owner, Larkin, truly made it a great experience too. He has created the perfect ambience with beautiful portraits of the original James Joyce himself which surrounds the entirety of the space, cool lighting, a super neat seating setup. Just love love love. It’s literally a couple steps from Main Street in Patchogue, this would be the best event space!
The reservation process was simple, no one rushes you and the staff is great. Especially the sweet, adorable server Ty (should definitely be promoted to a waiter) A++ for him!
As for the food: Fresh bread was great as a starter. I got the Chop Chop salad, and it wasn’t just your typical salad. It had pieces of thick blocks of salami and thick chunks of freshly cut cheese with avocado, tomatoes, onions, chick peas and yummmmm. My dad got the Grilled Angus Beef (10 Oz.) with fries and ate the entire thing. Said it was absolutely delicious. My son got The Times burger (usually the toughest critic) said it was insane!!! Loved it!!! Not one complaint. Brownies-TRY THE BROWNIES❤️.
We definitely found one of our new favorite places to go.

I went here just for dessert and ordered the warm apple cobbler with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream. But, this place is huge, great place to eat and I will plan on going back for lunch or dinner. There is on street parking and a town parking lot close. Bathrooms are very clean. The staff are very professional and friendly.
