Was greeted by a very nice young lady, very friendly and helpful. She gave me some recommendations. The food was really good and very reasonable in prices. Would definitely go back to try new stuff.

New to Connecticut. From Western Mass. was visiting windsor, CT and found “ Jamacian kitchen” on the DoorDash app. The first time I ordered I had the pepper steak with rice and peas (beans) and it was excellent. This time I ordered to much to say and since they didn’t have cabbage she personally called and told me and with out me asking she put in an extra ((Jerk chicken Mac & cheese )) so just check out the pics for yourself.

First time really trying a Jamaican restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. The woman at the counter was very pleasant and allowed me a sampler of the differenct spice combinations.

The staff here are so friendly and helpful! It was a true delight being there. I had the curried goat, which was yummy, and the portions are large. I didn’t care for the chicken patty, but the spinach patty was alright. The location is very clean and tidy, with nice ambiance/festive artwork and overall a chill experience. I’d go back for sure.

This is my third time ordering from Jamaican kitchen. I got the fried fish, oxtail with rice and cabbage and chicken stew. It was enough food for three of us toix and match and it was all delicious. I love this addition to Windsor Locks

Very good. I usually don’t get the sauce because it’s too spicy for me. Their sauce was nice and mild. More rice would be welcomed. So far I have had the oxtail, buttered fish, and chicken. All are good. This is my stop when coming home from the airport or picking someone up

Jerk chicken was tender, fall off bone type. Carrot dumpling was fire with the curry gravy. Beef patty coco bread a must as well. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Minus five stars. They serve a lot of Bones and a lot of rice no meat. They do not have no manners. No thank you or you’re welcome. And I do not think they like white people. Stay away unless you’re Jamaican or non-white
