The coco n cheese bread was horrible it’s literally just white bread and land of lake white cheese slapped in the middle, it’s suppose to be cream cheese? That’s not cream cheese! and the spinach pie was horrendous it was dry as hell. I got oxtail it was good.

Went for lunch from work and got a medium pepper steak, paid almost $17 and got 6 pieces of dry meat – I also asked for extra gravy, which means extra and there was almost none on it.
I’ve been to the one in Vernon and they always load it up for what you pay for – not the same experience here.

I came here for breakfast one day. I was totally shocked to see that they were serving dinner choices so early. I was expecting to have limited options. The food was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent. This place is conveniently located right near Bradley International Airport.

Privately owned with a few locations scattered through out CT. A minute away from Bradley International Airport is this truly amazing and authentic Jamaican Restaurant. First visit there and I will be going back regularly. I had the Ox Tale and it was cooked to perfection in a tasty brown gravy sauce, with a nice brown rice & beans and cabbage. Service was excellent and fast. Did not have to wait. They do have an expansive menu that I plan on sampling most of. If your local to the area, on a business trip or looking to try some authentic Jamaican food, I highly recommend this place.

Food quality and quantity both are below 1 star. One small jark-chicken and one ginger beer $20+ unbelievable. I love jark-chicken so I had it from so many different places nowhere it cost more than $13 also other places give double quantity than this place. I will never ever eat in this place again.

Windsor Locks – My husband purchased fried fish on New Years Eve . I must say that this was the worst we have ever had from this restaurant. The fish was not properly cooked and was mushy and greasy, we threw it away. My husband went back today Saturday 1/3/26 to let them know. The reception he received is less than desirable. They had questions as to why he did not contact them earlier. He explained that it was not possible to contact them earlier. They did not even make it right or apologize. One of the two girls who served him was present today; she told him that she spoke to the Manager and that there is nothing they can do. Shameful! We have been supporting the Resturant since it opened but will no longer be supporting this restaurant; I live in the area but will ride to Hartford. He was always sure to tip the service workers. Customer Service stinks!

I have search all of connecticut for a good beef pattie with Cocobread and I have been let down by many restaurants.
That’s until I happen to step into (Jamaican Kitchen) and I was blown away! Their beef patties are made just the way I like it’s like I’m in New York ordering from a small shop. Their beef patties taste amazing and their coco bread is fresh amd moist. Excellent place to stop in you’ll won’t be disappointed.
