Terrible experience at Jalsa. Ordered chili paneer – it was overly spicy and visually overwhelming. The dish was far from authentic Indian cuisine. Compared to other Indian restaurants in West Palm and Wellington like Raja or Aroma, Jalsa falls short. Why the hell would you add so much colouring to food?
Highlights:
– $40 paneer tikka ‘gold’ is a rip-off. We didn’t order it but the chilli paneer was an experiment to test the waters.
– Charged $5 for a quarter onion, lemon, and chili
– Portions were small, quality was mediocre
– Nothing on the menu felt authentically Indian
– you charge 5 bucks for a chai and have a freakin girnar machine for it lol
-Lacha paratha needs to have beautiful layers. What was served was substandard nonsense
Dasara is honestly 72 times better in terms of authenticity or the Himalayan restaurant. Honest was honestly better.
High ratings are probably from friends and relatives.
Won’t be back. Photos attached. Wouldn’t recommend to those seeking genuine Indian food.

Jalsa is an amazing fine-dining Indian restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere and great service.
The food was delicious. The malai kofta was creamy and flavorful, the bullet naan had a nice spicy kick, and the cheese naan was soft and cheesy. The gobi Manchurian was crispy and perfectly sauced.
The highlight for me was the chocolate lava cake dessert. It was served in a very unique way with cold smoke flowing around the bowl, which made it look really dramatic and elegant. Inside was warm chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate drizzle, topped with a flower garnish and served with a gold spoon. It tasted just as good as it looked.
Overall, everything from the food to the presentation was excellent. I would definitely recommend Jalsa and will be coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
