Great service, nice people, and great food. The Parrila, which comes out steaming hot like fajitas, was one of the best meals I have ever gotten at this kind of restaurant. Our waitress kept our water full and was very attentive to us. They were also very kind to our small children. There is a limit on how many free baskets of chips before paying $1.50, but the limit of two was plenty for a party of five. The salsa was delicious, not spicy but still good, not liquidy, really good taste and consistency. Chips would have been nicer if they had been warmer. The beef was shredded beef instead of hamburger meat. When I called ahead of time they answered quickly and were professional. Bathrooms and dining area were clean. Would eat here again!

You want good food, spiced to your taste? Go to Jalisco’s on Congress St. in New Market. Nice atmosphere, you can eat in or outside on their back patio which is away from the street traffic. Start with some tasty salsa and chips with your drink of choice. Good variety to choose from on the menu including vegetarian options which we love. My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area.

This is the better Spanish restaurant in the surrounding areas. The food is very fresh and made to order, and the portion size is always enough for a few meals or to share. The prices are extremely reasonable. I got the beef chimichangas, and they were so good. The beef was shredded instead of ground chuck, which made this dish so much better. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and this restaurant is LGBTQ friendly.
