Ben and his son Justin Hernandez run the restaurant to this day and are proud to have served generations of Peppers. We focus on FRESH, daily ingredients and boast a wide variety of offerings. My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant is Jalapeno’s!! Their white queso is divine. Light and crisp chips. Their nachos are literally the best. Amazing burritos. Margarita pitchers are super yummy. Our server, Curtis, was super friendly. Service is fantastic. Great prices and generous portions. Family friendly. Great date spot. They have TV’s to watch the game too! Highly recommend!!

Try the Mexi-fries and the number 4 on the lunch menu. Excellent!

Placed my order in a plastic bag instead of the traditional paper bag. All the food was cold, and I ordered at the restaurant, only live 1/2 mile away, small size portions.

First time in and had a great time. It was quite busy, however they (host stand) was very efficient and got me a table with a quickness. The server (I wish I got her name) was so nice, in fact the whole crew working was extremely friendly.
Food was on point. Healthy portions and hot!

I asked for beef nachos but received chicken it was very tasty. I didn’t like that the restaurant charges $1.50 to do takeout. There is no reason for the charge. I ordered a beef taco. The taco was not seasoned it was bland. It took 20-30 to get food. I left and came back. My food bag was sitting on the table unattended. I didn’t like that. The nachos was good and plentiful.

Great place for families! Jalapeño’s is unpretentious, which is very refreshing in a time where every restaurant is trying to be edgy and do something unique. You will not be completely blown away by this place, but you will get good-enough food in a family-friendly atmosphere. You can’t really tell whether servers are customers or employees because they’re so casually dressed, but that doesn’t bother us at all because they’re nice/accommodating to kids, and that cannot be said of many restaurants these days. Only think we don’t like is that you don’t get much food for the cost. Most restaurants charging $20 for fajitas at least serve rice/beans with it, but here you only get toppings: pico, lettuce, guac, and sour cream. Kind of a rip off but… kids are welcome, so we will take it.

John was an amazing waiter! The food here is consistently tasty. Heavy and comforting the way you want Mexican food to be. The chips are perfect and salsa has a bite without being too spicy. Generous portions and fast service. It’s no wonder Jalapenos is so busy!

Got some lunch delivered. Order came with salsa and chips. We got the #3, soft fish taco, Vera Cruz taco. The #3 was beef/beef/chicken, and both meats were tasty. Entree came with rice and beans. Fish was crispy and well fried, and taco was tasty.

Ordered to go food, picked up before food was ready. 1 cheese & spinach enchilada. 1 beef enchilada. And 1 ground beef tostado.
Received no utensils to eat with. And the enchiladas were not appetizing at all. Just threw away $15- $20 worth of food.
Tostada was good eats and that’s all.
