It’s taco Tuesday!!!!! Once again, another great experience at Jalepuenos in Sandfly. My waitress Tanny had a huge party to serve when I arrived, but did not seem it an inconvenience when I was seated in her section.
The steak fajita she recommended was so delicious. I almost could not finish it all, that was really great dish. I just love this place. Thanks Tanny for being patient with me while I was finishing up some work on my iPad.

If you enjoy being ignored, this is the place for you. Jalapeños offers a truly unique dining experience where the waitress disappears for long stretches of time and reappears only to be rude. Drinks stayed empty, questions went unanswered, and everything took forever—but hey, at least we had plenty of time to stare around the restaurant wondering if anyone still worked there.
The service was impressively awful, making us feel like an inconvenience instead of customers. If slow, rude, and nonexistent service is your thing, you’ll love it. Otherwise, I’d suggest literally anywhere else. The really be hiring anybody Lmaoo!

I ordered a 2 piece beef and cheese tostada that was listed as $5 but when I got the bill I upcharged $5 for cheese dip on the tostada. I ordered it as “beef and cheese tostada” because it was listed as “beef & cheese tostada” not “beef or cheese tostada”. Not to sound like a cheap ass but I would’ve appreciated clarification. Especially since I ordered the same thing at another location in Savannah and was only charged the $5
Update: I called 4 different locations in or around the Savannah location(I know I’m petty) and they all said there’s no $5 upcharge for the beef and cheese tostada because it comes with it. I know it’s petty. And it’s not even about the $5. When I go out to eat, no matter what I get, I calculate how much the bill should be. So I was kind of tickled getting a $21 bill before tip when I calculated it to be $12-14 before tip(the cheese dip was split into 3 even though it really should’ve been on one bill but that part is whatever). And listen, I understand, I’ve been a waitress for 6 years. So I’m not even blaming the waitress. But there shouldn’t be an automatic $5 cheese upcharge, that’s not even disclosed, when it’s assumed it’s included bc of how it’s listed on the menu. Especially since I’ve confirmed with other locations that it is included

This was my favorite Jalapenos in the Savannah area. Had not been in a while. The updated look lacks the charm of the old look. Food is still great.
Server was absolutely hopeless and rude. Misunderstood my order and had the nerve to come over to the table and get an attitude with me when I had it sent back.
When it came time to pay he did the machine at the table method rather than the traditional bill method, no doubt in an attempt to hover as I paid and make me feel uncomfortable so I would tip. Well your crappy service deserved no tip so you got nothing. I selected no receipt but he printed one anyway and chased me out the door to give me the receipt as if to say “I know you left me no tip”.
Well I appreciate that because I now know your name is Christian A. as per the receipt. Management, you need to have a serious talk with this server about his attitude and professionalism.

I come to this Jalapeños location usually once a week for lunch and have a great experience each time. The lunch specials are reasonably priced, the food comes out quick and hot, and the services is always friendly.
