Food was bland, cold, and disappointing. I should not have to add seasoning to my tacos from a Mexican restaurant!! Dry, tasteless chicken; cold flimsy tortillas; watery salsa. Extremely upsetting to receive plain boiled chicken that were passed off as Mexican tacos. Taco Bell has better seasoned meat than this imposter of a restaurant. Take your money elsewhere!

Thoroughly enjoyed this place. Came across Jalapeno’s by accident and it was a good one.
Bar and table service is friendly and fast. Table service is kid friendly. Plenty of food options and the staff is patient with those unfamiliar with their menu. My son (8) loved their steak quesadilla and I personally loved the “warm nachos with meaty cheese” (forget the actual item). The wife loved the tamale’s and my 4 year old loved the chips 🙂
Atmosphere is relevant for the venue and I found it to be clean and comfortable. Overall outstanding experience and I will return. This place is also right smack in the middle of a string of 4 bars within walking distance. The nearby bars are also great and would be good start for a sort of a “bar hopping” experience.

Have been in a couple times for drinks and pool, but went last night for dinner. Everyone was friendly and fun and the food was delicious. Had the enchilladas and they were perfect. They noticed we gave our friend a birthday card and brought out fried ice cream with a candle and sang happy birthday to her. It was an unexpected, very thoughtful gesture. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food in Gloucester City!

First time at this location, our server Amber was efficient and friendly. They have a full bar, the margaritas were delicious and refreshing, enjoyed with homemade chips and salsa. Next up was the perfectly cooked homemade tamales, one pork one chicken – fantastic! We rounded out our experience with chicken fajitas, which arrived piping hot, with lots of onions, peppers and chicken and all the fixings. Authentic food, real people, a nugget nestled in Gloucester City! And a parking lot to boot!

This place makes amazing food and the owners are very kind and considerate. They have a very big sense of community they care about what happens to their neighbors and employees. They’ve helped my daughter who has struggled on more than one occasion. I definitely suggest you stop in or order by phone and taste some amazing food

Got a couple different kinds of tacos pretty good . $3 beers and a cute little girl behind the bar . You can’t beat it. I would have preferred Mexican music versus what they had on. some kind of hip Hop something not for me. But the little girl did ask if I wanted to hear the TV or the music so there you go good stuff
