The most relaxed, refreshing dinner and lunch (next day) ever satisfied hunger and calmed nerves during my visit to MKE to vacate an apartment after a fire. The staff here all really must be angels just going incognito!

The ambiance was very welcoming. However, the culinary offerings were bland and overpriced, and the service was notably limited. Our server promptly approached our table to inquire about our drink preferences. She returned every five minutes until we placed our food order. We requested a single a la carte burrito. She subsequently delivered a three-plate burrito, which appeared to be simple rolled cheese wraps, and we were charged an exorbitant amount for this item. I requested a side of guacamole and chips, for which I was charged fifteen dollars. My order, consisting of three tacos and a side of guacamole and chips, totaled thirty-eight dollars and fifty cents. I also had a soda, for which she only permitted one refill in a small glass, approximately nine ounces. Would I return to this establishment? No. Would I recommend this location? No.

I was in the area and decided to stop for some food. I had the chicken salad with shrimp. I would fly ALL the way back to Milwaukee JUST for the food. So amazing. Definitely try if you’re in the area.

We were looking forward to trying this place, but it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was bland and didn’t have the bold flavors you expect from Mexican cuisine. There was no kids menu, which was inconvenient for families dining with children. My michelada was served in a very narrow glass that didn’t even fit the full beer, which was frustrating. The atmosphere was decent, but not enough to make up for the rest. I wouldn’t return or recommend it. 2 tacos plain ground beef, rice and beans 1 michelada total $30

Nice, well established Mexican restaurant. The highlight of their many menu choices are their flavorful and authentic sauces. Also a great choice for gluten-free and Celiac choices. They have a gf menu, gf tortilla chips and I have not reacted to cross-contact there.

This establishment was suggested by a local. Im so glad I took the advise and visited. The food is very authentic, tasty and simply amazing. I was blown away with the excellent service and the amazing food presentation and taste. I ordered the fillet mignon

Enjoyed the cream of jalapeno soup, the guacamole was decent but the mole was not what we expected. Had really high hopes but were really disappointed. Chicken was so dry event eat it with a lot of mole sauce. Mole was soupy. Service was really good though. I would not recommend mole, but maybe other dishes might be better.

I went to Jalapeño Loco this past weekend, and it was a GREAT experience. First, we only went because of the reviews I read. Trust and believe, the reviews were correct. The service is impeccable. The gentleman and young lady at the front entrance who greeted us were so kind and gracious. We got seated, and our waitress was excellent. She checked on us numerous times and was so accommodating. The food was amazing, and the drinks were delicious as well. The decor is so rich, and the atmosphere is very inviting. The place was packed, and I now understand why. Keep up the good work!!! I will definitely be back . . .

Been coming here for many years now. Introduced to it by the in-laws who have been coming for many more. This is as good a Mexican restaurant as you’ll find. Run by friendly, welcoming folk, the food is authentic, fresh and tasty. The drinks taste perfect and belie their strength. Their moles are a specialty and as good as you’ll find anywhere. Prices are reasonable and decor and atmosphere are wonderful. For good Mexican food in this part of town, look no further.
