This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority.The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers (Amber) are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat!

This is the perfect place to meet up with friends. The music is not blaring and you can have a conversation. AMBER is the best waitress always checking on you and making sure you are taken care of. This is a place where I can go into by myself and feel very comfortable because everyone knows everyone. The food is also very good. Stop in and check it out for yourself.

I walked in, got seated, and waited about 10 minutes before our server came over. Amber’s first words were simply, “What to drink?” There was no greeting, no welcome, and no sense of hospitality. When Amber came back, it was just “Ready to order?” which made it feel like we were being rushed rather than welcomed. The interaction from Amber came across as cold and unfriendly, and it didn’t feel like there was any effort to connect with customers or be pleasant. It was disappointing, especially since this bar and grill had been highly recommended to me during a recent visit to Shawnee, KS. Won’t be returning but with her attitude it doesn’t feel she really cares either way.

Drive by Jakes all the time so finally we decided to try. We went at 4 so it wasn’t very busy. Decided to try the Open Face Roast Beef for the Friday Special. We also got the appetizer plate. It came with breaded mushrooms, mozzarella sticks and jalapenos poppers. Everything was good but the star was definitely the open faced roast beef. That thing was huge. I expected less being the special to be lighter. Loved every bite. My wife said the margarittas were very good. My daughter got Buffalo wings. She liked them but said the Barbq would of been better. My son n law got the Ruben Sandwich and chips. He enjoyed it. Overall definitely recommend.

Drink prices were very reasonable coming from Colorado, I was shocked! Lol.

Drove by here many years but never stopped in, today I decided to check it out, read reviews but not true, walked in around 3 pm, regular at the bar, that will tell you about this place, a good sign, tonight is steak nite, 2nd place in Shawnee, open face meal, refrigerator that they keep beer glasses in,keep them cold, bartender friendly and knowledgeable, customer are friendly, I wish I had been here sooner, they have two bathroom, game room to hang out, keno machine, took pix of the game room and bar,they have poker night, activities during the week, summer time corn hole,
