What an interesting little spot. First, it’s a seafood market with an incredibly fine selection of regular and hard to find seafood which is beautifully displayed and they sell some other items to go with the seafood so you can create a meal. Second, they do a huge take-out business. Third, they have added restaurant services to the venue. They enclosed a section with a run of booths and tables and they have outdoor seating. The night we were there they had live music. We opted to eat inside but it’s very cold and we wished we had dined al fresco. We had an interesting booth for two with the bench on one side and it worked for us since we share our meals.
We went for the stone crabs which came in medium, large and jumbo by the pound. We got one pound of medium claws which was six well sized claws – very fresh and the meat was excellent. We don’t usually like coleslaw but their’s is delicious. The claws came with a mustard dip that was very good. For dinner we had the Aioli cod – very flaky, moist and cooked very well. We were surprised by the FRESH vegetables. We ordered fries since they don’t have a regular baked potatoe and those were a miss for us.
Next time we will try some of the other fish offerings and maybe try the twice baked potato or rice!

I’m a private chef, but not local to the area, so it’s been a unique journey figuring out where the gems are for the short time I’m here. This place was included on a shortlist vendors supplied by my client, and I finally had the time to visit today.
Oh. My. Gosh. It’s a seafood Disneyland! So so so many incredible and hard to find varietals, everything was fresh, clean, well maintained, etc. I came for one specific thing but ended up getting distracted by the amount of other fish/shrimp/shellfish lol.
But the real reason why this place is a gem is the staff. I was greeted by the kindest gentleman behind the counter who was ever so patient while I drifted off into my daydreams staring at all the options before finally ordering, and he cut/skinned the fish perfectly. While I was waiting in line, a different gentleman (forgive me ya’ll, I am terrible with names) waved me over and what started as a simple checkout process turned into one of the warmest, most genuine, thoughtful and sincere interactions I’ve experienced in a long time.
I’d asked for a de-boning tool and the gentleman showed me an even better device to use, and it 100% saved me tonight during service when I broke down the filet. A lovely woman taught me a trick to quickly & neatly debone a rather tricky section of the fish, and it also worked like a charm tonight (THANK YOU).
I’d mentioned being new to the area and they went above & beyond to help guide me with places to go/not go, activities, places, highways to take- just, wow!
I will absolutely be recommending this place to all my other private chef friends that come through Palm Beach, but truly, if you’re a person that enjoys good seafood and even better people- this is the only place to go! 10/10, 5 Stars, Gold Medal- all of the awards to these lovely folks

First off, a huge shoutout to Chef Herbert….thank you for the incredible hospitality! Cod & Capers is an absolute gem in Palm Beach. The fish is unbelievably fresh, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful and welcoming.
The best part? You can walk right into the fish market, pick out your fresh catch, and they’ll prepare it for you on the spot. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!

I took my mother here for dinner for a special celebration and everything was impeccable! Best seafood I have had in forever, sooo fresh! The steel drums were a lovely touch and the service was top notch. I recommend this seafood market and restaurant for anyone looking for the best seafood around, you won’t be disappointed!
Oh and be sure to try their gluten free Calamari! What a treat you are in for!

We were recommended this place and were so glad we were. The fresh market is incredible. The prepared food is even better. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. The atmosphere is warm. We had the Calamari, Atlantic Salmon, and Snapper. We will definitely be back!

If you’re looking for stone crab, why not go to the source? This restaurant and market supplies them to all of the other seafood restaurants in the area, so they’re freshest and cheapest here. We went two nights in a row because they were so good. Definitely some of the best stone crab we’ve had anywhere in Florida, but the spiny lobster was also superb, and the enormous Nigerian shrimp were mind-blowing.
Being a seafood market as well, the place is very casual, and the service is so friendly. I wish they had a bar to sit at rather than having to get a table, but have no other complaints. HIGHLY recommend coming here if in the area.
Edit: back in town for work again and obviously had to come here. They had an amazing special on a 1/2 lb of King crab, 1 lb of snow crab, a crab cake, and 2 sides for only $50! See pic – it was the biggest crab claw I’ve ever seen!

We need to recommend this place for sure, we just have a great experience there. First time here, while my father came from Brazil to visit and we went to the lighthouse and decide to take US1 back to Delray Beach and to find a place to Eat. We were surprised by this place, great food, delicious shrimp cocktail and mouthwatering balsamic salad sauce. We choose the tuna and shrimp and we are in love with this place. And they have an amazing market inside. We Definitely recommend it and we’ll be back soon

We had a great lunch at C&C. Service was great and the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious and the portions were just right. Key lime pie and oreo cheesecake was amazing! We will definitely be back.
