Great place to stop for some food and a beverage on your way around Roosevelt Lake. Lots of motorcycles there, good life music, lots of fun event events. The outdoor area has been redone and it looks a lot nicer.

Jake’s Corner Bar is perfect for a Saturday breakfast if you’re in Phoenix and don’t mind driving about an hour each way. The food hits the spot, the vibe is super chill, and it’s a great little escape from the city. Definitely worth the drive.

Ended up driving this way from Roosevelt lake up to the rim because of a fire restriction. Drive from the. Alley was much longer, but the small oasis of Jake’s Corner was a great place to stop, have a snack and a drink, before heading further up to cooler weather. Staff were great and attentive. Looks like it is busy when the heat is not so intense so people ride their motorcycles up there. Take a dollar bill and write something on it and staple it to the ceiling or walls to commemorate your visit. We did!

I don’t understand the hype. Been here twice and didn’t enjoy myself either time. First visit, we got here right when they opened and ordered drinks. We opened a bar tab; the bartender kept our credit card. Huge mistake. A big crowd came in, they were severely understaffed and it took 15 minutes standing at the bar waiting for the crowds to die down so we could cash out after one drink and no food. There are no servers here, order at the bar, pay at the bar. Bad system. Next visit we came with a large group, not my idea. I ordered the western burger. Frozen burger patty cooked until nearly black, and tasted like lighter fluid. The burger comes with a single onion ring, it was so cold, it must have come out of the refrigerator. The bun was also cold. Worst restaurant burger I’ve ever had, and it took a good 30 minutes to get our food after ordering. The employees here look like they hate their jobs, never saw anyone smile, not greeted when we came in, or a thank you for coming.

Lucille was the bartender who helped us and was very personable. The food and service were amazing. I had the BLT sandwich. Definitely plan to come back as they have lots of events during the week – check ahead.

It’s always a great time here! I’ve been coming here since 2003. Breakfast is always good. The bartender on this Saturday morning was awesome. We had a pretty good group size of bikers today. Had a blast!

Pretty slow for biz, but there was about ten people listening to the solo guitar man in the beer garden. Beer was cold and they had burgers and bar food available. There was a general store with gasoline and a RV park as well.
