Had dinner here after finishing our Arran holiday walk (12th Sept). The owner, “Happy,” was so welcoming and genuine — he really values his customers. The restaurant is cosy, spotless, reasonably priced, and the food is truly authentic North Indian with exquisite flavours. A gem that’s been here 17 years — and for good reason!

Visited this lovely wee restaurant on New Years day. We got a lovely welcome from Harpeet (happy). The service was amazing and the food was brilliant. The vegetable pakora was the best I’ve ever had and each of the 4 curry’s were really tasty. Will definitely be back…

Freaking brilliant, especially taking the price tag into account. Takeaway quantity and quality were both on point!! Butter chicken was to die for, nice and creamy. Chicken Jaipur was also a treat. Chicken pakora was excellent. naan bread was a worthy size. Look forward to coming here often in the future.

You can not beat the lunch and dinner deals. Their food is phenomenal and tastes fresh. I’ve tried several dishes, and they are all scrumptious. The peshawari naan was delicious. Service is friendly.
Again – £6 for a two course lunch? Amazing!
I drive 40 minutes to come and eat at this little hidden gem.
The only downside? They’re too far away from me but they are definitely worth the trip!
Also, you can’t add a tip to your bill if you pay with a card, so bring some extra cash for the wee girl. She’s just lovely.
I actually talked to the owner on my last visit, and he’s such a joy to speak to. Smiling. Friendly. No wonder he’s called “Happy”. We’ll no doubt be seeing you again soon, sir!

Absolutely horrified with their manners. I simply called in to ask whether they would have space for 12 people as i was going to go in with my family and once i asked the question, the person on their side of the phone, ended my call abruptly with a quick word of dismissal. I recalled to figure out whether that was a mistake and the person started swearing at me. I am truly offended at how this restaurant has treated me and do not recommend for anyone with any dignity to go to this place as they are not worth even a penny of your money. Truly disappointed considering the number of good reviews i had read before. Please don’t go.
