Dont know why this spot has that many bad reviews. Every time i go there, its always GREAT. The restaurant is always SPOTLESS, food is always cooked on time, and the prices are great for the portion size. Contrary to popular belief, NOT ALL CHINESE FOOD IS MADE OR TASTES THE SAME. & anyone who has eaten it in the city knows its a distinct difference in taste. The most noticeable thing you see out here is that they use alot more orange shavings in their orange chicken. But Jades garden holds up great in comparison to in the city and I highly encourage anyone in town to try them out!

The first thing I think of when going here is how I used to go to the preceding restaurant when I was a kid in 2002 by myself. The next thing I think is that I compare it to Chinese food in Washington, DC (or Chicago, just “big cities”). This place is on par with Yeung Fong, a place I’ve frequented a lot in the past. While I will say that actual Chinatown DC Chinese food is a little bit better quality, it’s also far more expensive. Another poster was right in that this place is generally just as good as big city Chinese food. We need to support our Asian owned businesses! The portions here are generous for the price, the lunch special being cheaper than the big city price by $2-$3 I would think. Pictured here is the General Tso’s (Tao’s) chicken for $8.53, you judge the portion.

Very Friendly people, food is made very quickly and comes out extremely hot. Hard to be the flavor and quantity of food for the price. Great place to grab a fast lunch or dinner!

Order was wrong. When called back to ask for correct order the manager got snippy and played back a recording of our order where you could clearly hear the phone breaking up. When asked if we could bring back the wrong one for the correct one the manager said no. I was charged $9.75 for JUST broccoli. I then had to pay anther $7.78 for JUST beef to make my original order of beef and broccoli. Terrible customer service! Will not be back and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Food was not good . Had kumpow shrimp and only got 5 shrimp on my meal the rest was full of vestables. When you walk in to the restaurant u will smell a really bad urine smell . Beware !!!! Went one yr ago, and when I went again I wanted to give it another try, but no. Please save your time and money and go to the Chinese restaurant , China Garden in Yorkville. If u don’t believe me ..please walk in to the restaurant and u will immidealy smell urine.

I haven’t been her for awhile but always enjoyed their food. I placed an order to go last night, chicken fried rice and egg rolls and I was really disappointed in the quality of the food. About all that was in the fried rice was cooked onion. Hardly any chicken at all and not much for taste. The egg rolls were tough and not much to speak of in flavor. I will give it another try at some point. Maybe just a bad night but not the same good tasting food I had always gotten there.

Food was nasty cold under cooked tasted of Styrofoam called to ask for a refund and was told I could have one but I would have to call grub hub because that’s were I did the order i said no problem called grub hub they Were willing to refund me my money but would have to return the food that I already threw in the garbage before they would issue refund i said I will not be digging threw my garbage for food to be getting a refund why would you want food from the garbage from night before makes you think what they would be requesting the food same day understand but in garbage night before and my food looked like it had come from the garbage so be careful before you order from here you could be getting returned garbage food thankyou God grub hub agreed with me and issued refund
