I came here because of the online reviews and went with three coworkers. My initial reactions wasn’t positive because the outside and entrance are in serious disrepair. When you go inside it’s pretty obvious this place has been around for decades. The menu prices are good and the lunch prices are very good. My opinion flipped around for the better when the food arrived. I ordered the Basil Thai Chicken dish and the flavors were outstanding. I was concerned about ordering a Thai dish from a Chinese place but the flavors were spot on. My co-workers liked the dishes they ordered. I would go here again, don’t let the cosmetic issues chase you away. The place is old but clean and very spacious.

Now my review from two years ago-This restaurant has been here for as long as I can remember. The food used to be really good and it used to be a good dining experience.Thing’s over the years, however, have changed. Unless you’re really looking you might just pass right by the place while driving because the outside of the yard is completely over grown with weeds that are taller than the front door. The outside of the building is completely run down and the parking lot has needed repaving work for years with the many pot holes. When you go in the owner’s have always been very nice, but inside the building, the carpet is still the same carpet that has been there for the last 25 years that I have been on and off again stopping in occasionally. The lighting is very dark. Some of the wait staff are very good, and then they have been some that are just plain rude, one time we were in there my wife and I and we were the only ones there and we asked if there were any lunch specials and the waitress was s rude she said I don’t know but you can get up and go to the front and look to read what it says on the lunch board. The last time I looked it was a wait staff’s job to know the menu and the special’s. The last time we were there was last year. The food quality was bad. My wife got her food. The waitress dropped off her food and ran back… and I waited for nearly 20 minutes later before she came back with my food. I do know for a fact that all entrees are supposed to come out at the same time, and if the entree is not ready you don’t send out half a table. But anyway…as I was trying to eat a fruit fly and a gnat landed on my food and was crawling up my noodle’s I was grossed out. I called over the waitress and showed her, and first, she tried to make up an excuse like well or maybe it was part of the noodle I said no, look again it is moving. I lost my appetite. She just picked up the plate said nothing else took the plate in the back and came out with the check. Did not offer me anything else, but at that point, I wouldn’t want anything else. But you can see exactly how the restaurant looks on the outside and the inside the lack of care that goes into the restaurant anymore. I do not recommend going here.

Really good Chinese food. We went right 45 minutes before closing on Sunday so it was slow. Our order came out quick and the server was very attentive to our drinks and checking up on us. The portions we’re big- the prices were a little high, but again, the portion we’re big, piping hot and delicious.
Also, the restaurant is huge–large banquet huge. The tables are spaced out nicely–and I mention this because the other bigger Chinese restaurant in Webster (Royal Dynasty) it feels like you’re packed in a sardine can.
Long story short, great food, good service, I will definitely come back again.

this is my first time eating here in a long time and let me say the food was actually really great! Very fast and easy service and the food was ready to pick up in less than 30 minutes! Definitely would not see any reason to not eat here again! Would recommend

I wasn’t a fan of my food at all, the broccoli I got was really rubbery. On all of the tables in an empty dining room there were the crispy noodles, who knows how long they had been out. Not that they can really go bad.. but when biting in to ours I really expected them to be stale. They weren’t though. Our waiter was extra friendly which is a major plus! How ever the dining room we were in was really dingy looking and seemed in need of lots of minor repairs and cleaning.

We waited for about 15-20 minutes at the table before being approached to order (after another family ordered who arrived after us). The waitress stated the food would be about an hour. We did not stay.
The place was very under staffed. There was a child (6-8 years old) at the entrance desk and answering phones.
The place looked very nice and I heard from family that they are normally very good both food and service.
Willing to try again on a more opportune day.

We were so pleased with our food. I ordered the moo shi pork. Awesomeness! My husband special ordered his meal and he was also quite satisfied. The food came out hot and plentiful. Leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Used to go there several years ago, it was always busy, but haven’t been there in several years. Been there twice in the past two weeks for lunch and was the only one there both times. Same waiter both times. He didn’t speak either time, just looked at me to take my order. Both times, after he served me my food, he never came back except to give me the check, and both times, after he gave me the check, he would come out every 45 seconds or so to see if I was ready to pay. Saw him 100% more after he gave me the check. Very annoying. Not sure if he was thinking I was going to leave without paying, but this guy needs to get another job. He is a terrible waiter. Food was good, good price, good portions. Place needs to be fixed up and cleaned. Bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke. Wish I could give a better review.

Always great!!! I have an MSG intolerance and I order vegetable subgum with white rice and vegetable spring rolls & I have had no reaction as I have ordered from here 20 times at least.
The family that owns jade palace are great people and their kids are very intelligent and fun to talk to as I wait for my take-out.
I love the bar, it is a HUGE full-service bar that you can sit and relax while you’re waiting for your order after a long day at work.
High-quality service in the dining area as well.
The owners are very personable and helpful.
It’s a hidden gem in Webster for the best Chinese food-and service you can find within the area.
I lived all around the country and I respect this establishment because of the quality of food and exceptional service.
