Ordered crab Rangoon and 2 shrimp egg rolls, the first shrimp egg roll had ONLY A TAIL of a shrimp at the bottom and some mushy cabbage which prompted me to unroll the second. To my surprise there were two shrimp however again just a little bit of mushy cabbage. Disgusting, worst shrimp rolls I’ve ever had from ANY Chinese restaurant I’ve patronized. The crab ragoons were just as awful and underwhelming, halfway filled and dry. Also, this is the first Chinese place that didn’t have the decency to put napkins or soy sauce in the bag when ordering carry out. This place sucked, don’t recommend and will not return.

I have been enjoying Jade Garden for years! Their Crab Ragoon has been off the hook and i have often bragged and sent new customers to Jade Garden. Although the last few times have been very disappointing. The first time I thought it was an off night although yet again another very disappointing order. Dry Crab ragoon, dry General Tso, Dry Pork Fried Rice…. so disappointing and I truly hope the can correct soon.

I have been going here for years! Worst food in a long time. Lo mein noodles way over cooked and no flavor. Szechuan shrimp and scallops tasted like they just put ketchup on it. Definitely not coming back!

Eating here has become a lottery. Some days the food is great, but other days—like tonight—it’s extremely disappointing. I spent $52.64 and couldn’t even eat my meal.

I ordered the boneless ribs combo, and the meat was completely unseasoned and bland. The pieces were extremely tough and chewy, almost like eating mulch. I’ve been ordering the same dish for years, so I know exactly how it should taste, and tonight’s order was a total waste of money.

This isn’t the first time the quality has been inconsistent, and unfortunately it’s becoming frustrating. I think it’s time for me to find a new Chinese food option, even though this place is right in front of my house and I’ve been a customer for years.

Good, quick food. We are old, so we eat early. But every time we order online, it says it will be ready in 20 minutes. We show up 20 minutes later, and the food is bagged and ready to go! They have a few different menu options you don’t find at other Chinese places, and of course always have the classics!

I got the Schezuan Chicken and it was like ketchup was used with a little spice. My first time here so not too happy about coming back.

By far, our favorite Chinese restaurant in the southeast Virginia Beach area. Absolutely best Mongolian beef and hot and sour soup.

I left there crying. I asked for a combo, but since my baby only eats noodles I asked for them on a different plate. That way I could eat the rice and egg roll. They refused. Said everything had to be tossed together in the same container. Why!? All I asked for was a plate on the side. No extra food. Just for my baby to have her noodles without it being tossed around with the rice. If you’ve ever tried to satisfy your child’s eating habits then you might relate to why I left there crying hysterically. Sometimes moms just have that one thing that breaks them, and this was it. Lost customer!

They are open again! I’ve been eating here for almost 20 years, and my wife and I love it. They are consistently good – the best Chinese takeout in the Redmill/Dam Neck area. Tasty, fresh food, good prices, a clean restaurant, and friendly service.

They’ve recently added a partition up front to separate the kitchen and service counter from the public space, the employees wear masks, and they offer hand sanitizer and Clorox wipes for customers, all things I really appreciate.
