Decent size menu. Not very good at communicating if we grab our own water, how we pay for our food since it was a sit down service. We got the kids taco and the menu stated no cheese on it, which we wanted, the taco came with cheese and the beef looked raw. I’m guessing they boil the beef to make it look raw, but why serve that to a kid. I’ll just keep going to the express vs the restaurant.

We are new to this location, and had eaten at their other location only a few times. When we go here we are always looking for a good meal, and also important -we need it timely so we can move on to other things. We are not needing a special atmosphere so I would say that it is about what you would expect for an authentic mexican restaurant. I will say we have always had great service. Food has been great all the times we have been there, and we like being able to go get the extras to make our meal personalized at the ‘condiment bar.’ I get enough food to have lunch the next day too. I would say try it out if you live west side-worth it!

Ordered 4 things the fajita burrito which was extremely dry, tres Leche cake which was burnt under the whip topping as yes they tried to cover it but you could even tell from the side it was burnt, the birria tacos which where dripping with grease and for some reason very tart, and queso with chips which where the only good thing we got….

This one was a spin from the 12th st location. The server came to the table and delivered Chips and salsa. Most definitely prefer this location…. great food the burria burrito was fantastic!

Never coming back again. I placed an almost $100 order to go and politely asked if I could get my carne asada well done. Instead my carne asada was left very blonde and pink throughout the center. I am very upset since I paid so much all to be left hungry and disgusted by the rare in my food even though I communicated my preference. Never coming back here again. (Also they didnt cut their tortas all the way through.) Don’t waste your time or your money!

I really liked the food, BUT the young man who served us was one rude and kinda angry young man. He didnt bring some of what we ordered and we had to ask for it then he wouldnt bring our bill. When approached to ask about the bill, he looked at me with utter HATRED and said ,you pay UP HERE pointing his finger downwards. This was said with a MEAN and ANGRY manner. It sorta FELT personal, not just like he was having a bad day. It RUINED us wanting to return ever AGAIN. And like I said the food was GOOD but dude, really?? Very confusing.

AVOID this location! I have been here twice and both times have been disappointing. Jacky’s is my favorite restaurant in town but I will stick with the 12th street location. I ordered the chicken chipotle burrito and was not even able to eat 1/4 of it before it started to fall apart. The food is not the same at all as the 12th street location.
