I can’t express enough how amazing our night was ! We had our wedding reception in the updated banquet room and everything was just superb. All of our guests continuously came up to us to compliment how delicious the food was . The staff did an incredible job catering to us and making us feel so welcome ! I highly recommend Jackson’s for any of your events , thank you to Iggy and the amazing staff!

Busy yet pleasant. The dinner selection was plentiful. Thierry main selection is the PRIME RIB. 12oz or 20 Oz or 32 Oz. Ben prepared to take a nap afterwards.

We kind of accidentally ate here & I’m sooo glad we did. Atmosphere is beautiful. My sister in law had the potato leek soup & said it was fantastic. Her entree was steamed clams & she said they were wonderful. Hubby had hamburger & fries & was quite pleased. I had French onion soup which was perfect & cranberry walnut salad with blackened scallops…out of this world. SiL & I shared a piece of Italian lemom creme cake (ok we let hubby have some too). Dense, moist, the flavor was light & just right! And the service? Absolutely flawless! We plan to return soon. Highly recommend!

Myself and my wife were there for Valentine’s Day. The food was perfect. Our server was not happy to be there. Or at least that’s how it appeared. I ordered a prime rib to go after we had our meal. I told the waitress the one I had there was cooked perfect and I would like a rare prime rib to go. When I got home it was an end cut nothing like what I had ordered there. We did tip based on our order that we brought home. It was a very big let down.

Hadn’t been in years so we decided to go for a family birthday (table of 9). It was enjoyable and the food was delicious. Our server was pleasant and the owner checked in as well. Can’t ask for more than that! We will try to come back more frequently as these types of local restaurants are few and far between anymore, and they really need the support.

A place that seems to remember its own history of long ago boardinghouses, railroad stations and active rail lines. A very comfortable feel. Holiday weekend Saturday night Lots of people; very busy. Table for two out of the flow yet there was someone with us in five minutes. One of the five staff members, including our waitress Catherine, that would visit the table during the next hour. Friendly and unhurried in the midst of a full house. Very well run experience. Our food was excellent And the prime rib lived up to its world famous billing. Hot and perfectly cooked.
Definitely a place to feel good and have a good time.

One of the only places for a later dinner in the area, always does the trick. Got the fisherman’s platter, hit and buttery, the prime rib is also a good move. Friendly staff, colorful locals, kitschy and fun.

Warm, cozy atmosphere. I’ve been there twice and the food is great. Reservation recommended. It is a drive from most places so wouldn’t want to make the trip without knowing availability.

This restaurant was a bit out of our way, was recommended by a friend. About 50 min north.
The staff was very friendly, especially our waitress Elizabeth. Food came promptly enough, but was served luke warm. Glass of wine a little over the top at 14 $ for a glass half full.

Lobster bisque was terrific! Buffalo chicken tenders were average and never came with a sauce. French fries were fresh cut and plentiful but came with a ridiculously small cup of ketchup. We asked for a side of bleu cheese….it is home made and the best I have ever had.
Service was very slow (we were the first and only customers at the time) but friendly.
