Jackson’s Kitchen is a solid 4-star spot, particularly because of the great service which I rated at 4 stars. The team there was friendly and efficient, adding a lot to the experience. The food and atmosphere were both standard and reliable 3-star experiences. It’s a nice, welcoming place for a casual meal where you know you’ll be well-treated by the staff.

I truly love the food here at Jackson’s Kitchen. I have more than one favorite here. Chicken salad club, the burger, Lamb Tips, and the seasonal pasta salad. The food is so fresh and made to order. The vibe is so cool here. Always some good music playing while you wait. They have a customer wall with pics of their frequent customers. The owner and staff are very engaging and make you feel so welcome. They also usually have a trivia question to answer while you wait. You gotta try this place.

Just one ‘meatball’ convinced me to take a tour and order the menu: Chicken noodle soup was the best, crispy crispy lettuce, olives without pits, generous sprinkling of feta, yum! Salmon so fresh and tender, rice pilaf light and fluffy, chicken parm crisp and juicy, sautéed vegetables al dente and smokey and peanut butter cookie – my son quickly scooped the 1/2 I didn’t eat and what’s this not one complaint from my usually critical wife! Best of all the portions are so generous – my uncle and aunt had a full meal the next day!

This restaurant came highly regarded. Atmosphere and service were great, but the food was average at best. My party had breakfast. My hash browns were something you’d expect from a buffet; cool, hard and lackluster. Eggs were ok, and the sausage patty was bland and tasted as though it was precooked. I ate a bit of my wife’s French toast which tasted like plane old Texas toast. Very average meal IMO.
If it wasn’t for the atmosphere and service, I would’ve rated it lower.

Delicious tuna salad sandwich I could select toppings for, and dessert, chip and drink options! Numerous dinner and lunch options along with sides and size of meal depending on the number of people served. UPDATE: went back today for a follow-up meal and ended up with Fish Tacos that were STELLAR, too. I will definitively be a regular here with Ronnie and Katie.

I have been a long time customer of this mediocre sandwich shop. I like to support local businesses. Recently, I was diagnosed with a food allergy to cabbage. I called ahead when ordering a salad and asked if it could come without cabbage. (By the way, not a standard ingredient in a lot of salads). Not only did the owner tell me “no” and “his son Hates purple cabbage, but he doesn’t care, purple cabbage is everywhere.” I went ahead and paid for the salad because it came with the sandwich I wanted, but when I went to pick it up, without complaining at all, the owner came out again and made sure to shame me for asking to remove the cabbage, he said “ Too bad it has cabbage. I don’t care.” I paid and left,
Well, I don’t care to ever patronize this rude establishment ever again. You just lost a 2 to 3 year customer, and I plan to tell everyone I know about how rude you are. It’s pretty shameful that you serve salads that are premixed, filled with cheap filler, and cannot make a fresh order salad for a loyal customer, let alone making them feel bad for it. You’re in the food industry, have you never heard of a dietary restriction? You don’t care? Would you care if you salad placed me in the hospital? How are you even in business? I expect to see a sale sign on your door in the next year: Hopefully a better (Basically, easy to run salad/sandwich) restaurant moves in because your job ain’t that hard. And it’s certainly not hard enough to be so rude.

Wow, every time we go here it’s great. Comfort food is listed on the window and they deliver! Lamb tips dinner, so good, the turkey club, amazing as it has real roasted turkey…not some deli turkey. They have some sort of magical vinaigrette on the salads…you’ll love it. Get the fries too! Friendly, fast and fresh! Highly recommend.

I was excited to try this place for the first time, but the poor customer service ruined the experience.

I called ahead to order, and when I arrived, I waited at the register. One employee saw me but ignored me, calling another customer over instead. No greeting, no “I’ll be right with you”—nothing. After checking out that customer, they brought food for someone else and still ignored me.

I stood there, waiting to be acknowledged, but no one said a word. Frustrated, I walked out. Great reviews can’t make up for such bad service—I won’t be back.
