Jackson’s Bar and Oven opened in 2009, created by chef Josh Silvers and his wife Regina as a family-friendly, downtown spot for great food and a relaxed atmosphere.
The menu features Sonoma County’s best seasonal ingredients, with housemade breads, mustards, and pickles, plus plenty of gluten-free options. A wood-fired oven anchors the kitchen, turning out pizzas and other favorites. Behind the bar, you’ll find rotating craft cocktails made with fresh, local ingredients, along with regional wines and a solid beer list.
Whether you’re stopping in for lunch, dinner, happy hour, or a late-night drink, Jackson’s offers easygoing hospitality and dependable, wine country flavor.
Go-to hangout with sleek decor offering wood-fired pizza, eclectic bar fare & innovative cocktails.

Great food and service. Highly recommend restaurant and bar with reservations recommended. Awesome pizzas, great crust, which makes the pizza.
Nice atmosphere and much bigger on the inside than what it looks like on the outside.

We had a group of 12 and sat upstairs where they have seating for larger groups. Everything went really smoothly as it is hard to get appetizers, orders, drinks, and dinner up to this area of restaurant….but they did a great job. Everything was timely, food was delicious, and we had a great time in this little, very cool part of Santa Rosa.

My mom & I were exploring the old railroad square and stumbled upon this place doing so. I’m so happy we did!
We came on a week day late afternoon/ early evening and there were some people, but not too crowded. We sat at the bar and had a drink & ordered a pizza.
The bar tender was super nice & attentive. I got the Painted Lady drink which was good, not too sweet or strong.
The wood fired pizza is amazing. I got the house made sausage one and it was incredible. The crust and toppings were just perfect! I would definitely come back here again when in the area!

Had a great experience at Jackson’s Bar and Oven! The pizza was excellent — crispy crust, great flavor — and the wine selection was impressive. Cozy atmosphere and great service too.

We were drawn to this restaurant based off location and mocktail options. I had the Eagle Eye Cherry mocktail, I highly recommend it for its tart, unique-fresh taste. I also had the lamb stuffed flat-bread with greek salad. I admit I was concerned about portion size until it arrived, I couldn’t even finish it (pictured below). The lamb was seasoned well and paired well with the hummus.
The wife had The Burger and described it as flavorful, with a perfect potato bun, and a THICC patty (misspelled on purpose).
A couple of small complaints: while we praise them for their extensive beverage options including mocktails, they did not seem to have a ton of food options and the burger was “slightly dry.” That being said it was a wonderful place with friendly staff and we both agreed we would happily come back. Give it a try.

On our way back from Point Arena, we stopped at this place for lunch on a Sunday Afternoon. The place was moderately occupied, we were shown to our table almost immediately. The staff here is really nice with a smile always! We were waiting for the rest of us to join so they patiently handled our order. The cocktails here are a must try. We loved the truffle fries and the skillet garlic bread so much that we went for a second serving (must try). The food here will not disappoint you, every dish we ordered was amazing. Will definitely recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a great experience at this spot! The beet salad was fresh and flavorful—definitely a highlight. Drinks were on point, and the mocktails were creative and fun (though one leaned a little sweet for my taste). The truffle fries? Absolutely addictive. Overall, a solid place for a chill night out with good food and good vibes. Would come back for sure!

Well, my husband and I went here with some friends last night and were excited, as we’ve never been and it was a nice place. I will say the food was good but the service was not. It took so long to get a drink that I literally forgot I ordered it. I feel the space we were in was maybe secluded and not looked in on as much. Like a separate room from all the company. I feel our waitress couldn’t read the table when it was time for ordering, Togo boxes, or getting the check. We were there a long time just waiting on things. The atmosphere was popping which was a plus though!

First time here…we had lunch, sharing the Heirloom tomato salad, Shishito peppers and chicken picatta meatballs with fried polenta. YUMMMMM! Everything was beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and so delicious! And even though we were full, we couldn’t resist the peaches and cream dessert of authentic cheesecake, peaches in syrup topped with cinnamon shivered almonds. What a lovely lunch! Nick, our waiter, was excellent, adorable and attentive. I wanted to take him to meet my single daughter….lol

Everything about our experience was wonderful. Our server, Hope, was accommodating when we expressed our desire to move at a slower pace. The timing between Cocktails, Appetizer , dinner then dessert was perfectly paced. All of the staff were efficient and attentive without being intrusive. The team really do work well together. The food was amazing. Chicken piccata meatballs with crispy Polenta, hamburger with truffle fries, brick chicken, beignets and espresso martinis. EVERYTHING exceeded our culinary expectations. The service was phenomenal.
