Great service, friendly staff and the food!!! We had burgers, with the fried gizzards for a starter. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese just because I had to. Fresh green Beens. Can’t wait to go back. Comfort food!!! So yummy.I think I could have been happy just eating sides.

Bro, they dead gave me all these hot wings with 1 little container of ranch. and when I went to pick up my food I was told it was not ready so I waited an extra 30 minutes with my food came out it was cold. so how was my food not done? But it’s freezing cold

AH-mazing soul food spot! My friend Bill and I met up here for our monthly lunch date and we absolutely LOVED it. Now expect to spend a good amount of time there. I’m not gonna say the service was slow – because we were very well attended the whole time we were there. What I am going to say is hot, fresh, made to order soul food takes some time to make – so make sure you account for that when scheduling your meal here.
My friend Bill had the liver and onions – which he said were the best he’s ever had. I had the smothered pork ribs with greens and okra and, lemme tell you, our meal was sublime! And after we ate we discovered why when the chef (I believe her name is Natalie) came out to introduce herself. She was warm, welcoming and friendly and I could tell she truly enjoyed hearing our praise and that she LOVES to cook and to feed people great food…I’d say the secret ingredient in this soul food is LOVE.
Thank you for a meal that far surpassed any expectation I had for the food here! Y’all are fabulous! Thank you for being you, and for sharing your talent in the kitchen with all of us!

Amazing soul food. My husband keeps raving about how amazing the gizzards were. The meat is seasoned beautifully and fried to perfection, and the sides were so good it was hard not filling up on just them. We can’t wait to bring friends here when they come to visit. Also, Friday night is karaoke night, and the staff joins in with some of the best karaoke covers I’ve heard. We’ll definitely be back!

AWESOME FOOD !! Never had a bad experience, food always hot and fresh everything is cooked once order is placed!! Love JACKSON SOUL FOOD !! Had my food dine in and take out never had any problems best in town & if you need more condiments just ask for more they will politely give you more tried everything there and everything is Awesome! They do get busy but that’s not a problem good is still going to be fresh and hot no matter how long the wait is I’m still waiting!! Thanks Jackson soul
