They don’t allow laptops, so this isn’t a place to post up and work. Phones are fine, but if you’re planning on opening your computer, don’t. That said, it kind of forces you to actually be present, which I didn’t hate.
Making your own sandwich is genuinely fun. I customized a wrap and managed to keep it on the healthier side, which felt like a win. There’s also an incredible-smelling pizza place in the back that’s very tempting.
The gardens are beautiful, and the whole place feels random in the best way. Come with a friend, hang out, eat, wander a bit—but don’t come here expecting a café-work situation.
Beautiful little spot if you take it for what it is.
first of all I love a little neighborhood shop and this one packs a big punch with bagels, sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas.
Lots of drink, chip, and snack options, and a wonderful selection of wines!
I really enjoyed building my own wrap and heading out to the patios, yes multiple patios, to enjoy my meal.
Honestly there is so many cute seating options that although it was pretty busy we still found a quiet place to ourselves.
This is definitely a must come back spot! The staff were super friendly and everything was kept so neat and clean.
Adding this market to my sandwich list for sure.
Jackson Market is one of those magical neighborhood spots that instantly makes you feel at home. Tucked away in a quiet residential street, it feels like you’ve stumbled into a secret garden café right in the middle of Culver City.
The outdoor patio is my favorite part! It’s cozy, lush, green, and filled with the kind of peaceful energy that makes you want to stay for hours. It’s the perfect place for a slow coffee, catching up with a friend, or getting a little solo work done (without your computer) in a calm environment.
Their food is always fresh and flavorful. You can tell they care about quality. The coffee is smooth, the drinks are great, and everything tastes like it’s made with intention. Even when the place gets busy, the staff stays friendly and warm, which I really appreciate.
If you love spots that feel both local and special, peaceful yet full of life, Jackson Market is a must-visit. It’s easily become one of my favorite places in Culver City! It’s a true hidden gem.
I got the chicken Caesar wrap that fell apart almost immediately after picking it up. The chicken to lettuce ratio wasn’t great, and it was hard to pick up any flavor. It almost tasted like the ingredients if that makes sense; not a cohesive wrap. However I got it promptly/kindly remade and it was great the second time. A lot more meat and flavor, plus it was wrapped much tighter.
The inside is beautiful and calming, and as it is a deli they sell everything from detergent to protein cookies.
After climbing the Baldwin Hills overlook steps, we popped over to Jackson Market and Deli for a light bite and a drink. I really loved the garden patio – the turtles, fish, and waterfall were so serene! I also appreciated there were gluten free options available. I didn’t try a sandwich, but I plan on it next time. There was also a large assortment of snacks available!
My only complaint was my matcha was a bit bitter, and we were served by three different people who seemed a bit confused I had already ordered. Other than that, everything was good.
The service was fast and friendly. This was a easy 5 star experience.
From beer, to coffee, snacks to go, this place has something for every need.
Breakfast, salads, sandwiches, pizzas..
Lets gooooo!
There’s plenty of tables and seating. They own the lot next door with the pond if you’re unable to find seating. We watched the koi fish and turtles chill. Plus you could walk to the nearby park and have a picnic. Pizzas on the weekend which I’ve yet to try but my mom has had it with her friends and they love it.
The market is a great addition to the community where everyone feels safe and welcomed.
