At Jack’s, we draw on the tables and colour outside the lines. We live by our own code, not a dress code. And we’re not afraid to get a little dirty and eat with our hands, because frankly, we believe utensil etiquette can go fork itself. Jack’s is a place where oddballs and outsiders are welcomed in without judgement. So come as you are, be yourself, live free and have some kick ass chicken fingers and a fishbowl while you’re at it.

The restaurant is a good size, with tables of all sizes and bar service.
Entry is usually quick, but if you’re planning to go at night, especially at this time of year, it’s advisable to make a reservation.
The menu doesn’t have many options, but a recommendation is to order the poutine with lobster, as it’s simply incredible.
For customers with disabilities and reduced mobility, the restaurant has tables that accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. They also have adapted restrooms with grab bars and spring-loaded doors. The flooring throughout the premises is level, making it possible to walk around, although the number of tables makes it a little difficult. Unfortunately, they don’t have a menu in Braille, but the staff is ready to assist with orders.
For families with children, the place has a children’s menu and baby changing facilities in the restrooms.
If you are using public transport, simply get off at Sankofa; if you are driving, the building has paid parking.
It’s worth a visit.
We sat indoors and our handsome D’Maitre Ron aka Rounak was there to take care of our orders.
We asked for some lagers along with fried fish tacos and this was a good combination. The beers on tap were great, fresh and refreshing. The indoor decors are ok and could do better with a face lift.
However the bright spot was Ron who is a super friendly and warm guy and a Post-Graduate in Management Studies. You get his advice on what to order and what not to and this makes the evening more interesting.
Come one come all to Jack’s to be served by Ron and his team and enjoy that beer!
