The food and service here was very good. The prices and specials had options for everyone. The biscuits were fresh hit and buttery they melted in your mouth. The green beans were flavorful with a little kick. The chicken was hot and juicy. The burger was good with fresh toppings and no cheese you have to ask for cheese. The potatoes and gravy were also delicious. The bathroom was clean and so was the dining area. They did have a drive thru but we went inside. They had nice big tables for larger families. The staff were friendly and professional. Ten out of ten totally recommend the food here.

Chicken way over done and I couldn’t eat it. Strawberry cream cheese pie was old…cream cheese was BROWN. Biscuit hard as a rock. We ordered two catfish plates. They were out of catfish. My husband ordered slaw. There were out of slaw and out of Dr Pepper. We have patronized this place several times and there was always something wrong. And it’s also freezing cold in the restaurant. After several visits we finally learned our lesson and will not return.

Don’t go to the one in collegedale. Sometimes you get charged for food you didn’t order the food you get is never the same amount sometimes you get 2 sausage patties sometimes you get 1. Ordered side of eggs some times you get decent amount sometimes you get a tablespoon. I will never go there again for breakfast. Might try lunch

The service is non existent. This place is doing everything it can to GO out of business.
I have given their takeout service so many chances to redeem itself. For drive thru, It is guaranteed that if you order more than 4 things that they will make you wait on the curb. Then it is almost 15 minutes of waiting. And then Guaranteed to have forgotten something. 7 SEPARATE OCCASIONS THAT I HAVE HAD TO GO BACK INSIDE and pick up food because they forgot it.
I have a sticky note that says:
Times Jacks has forgotten something and there are 7!!!
Insane. Today is my last time ever going here.
I feel terrible because the food is alright but the service is killing it for me.

Please quit putting liquids just in the plates for to go orders! Gravy spills when you do, use the little bowls so things don’t spill while being transported! Sad that you have to ask every time for it on the side in a little bowl with lid & even when you do, it doesn’t get done.

Wanted to give this restaurant a try. I had seen the commercial for $6.49 dinners. Pick your main and add two sides. We’ll, be careful! I did just thst with a 2 PC chicken dinner and was charged an additional $1.50! because I chose mac and cheese! Wow! What a disappointment. Food was OK…don’t think I will return. I hate restaurants that tickle and dime their customers.

I was so hoping Jacks was going to make it here, their food is good, when done/served correctly. Staff is untrained and rude/irrelevant to customers.
I was here on Feb. 2 ,2026, food was subpar, trash cans were all over flowing at 1045 am, especially in rest room, they were OUT of napkins, reluctantly providing tear off from brown bathroom towels if asked for napkins…. Not a good look……hope they get control and turn this around…

My Lord. I have given them several chances to redeem themselves but they continue to disappoint. It’s sad really. Love jacks but really not worth waiting 15 minutes for food that had apparently been ready for 10 minutes.
