We randomly decided to come here and we have been incredibly pleased with our experience. Prices, portions, and flavor are top notch. Once your food is brought out, which never takes very long, the waitresses don’t linger and irritate you while your trying to eat. But, they very frequently ask if you need anything and if everything is ok. This place has very quickly become our Sunday lunch stop!!

When I say I eat Mexican food often, I truly do. SO, I’ve had a lot to compare this place to! It was hands down the absolute best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Cooked to perfection. Huge serving. Great waitress. Highly recommend. I’m from Missouri but plan a trip back to the area in February and will definitely stop here again!!!

I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I received. My family and I watched as people around us who entered the restaurant after us and were served their food. One of the patrons even stopped by the table and asked if we were ever going to be served. I’m pretty patient and understanding. The young lady couldn’t get it together and possibly needed a little more training. She was not knowledgeable about the options available. I won’t be returning. My appetite was ruined.

Worst service ever experienced in a Mexican restaurant. Waited over 40 minutes for meal after placing order. Food was okay, not great. Won’t be back.

Good food and fast service. Wife had a lunch combo of taco and Chile Rilleno, she loved it. I had the taco salad which was essentially a fajita mix with lettuce. Taco bowl was overdone but the ingredients were delicious and hot off the grill. I would definitely eat here again.

The food was better than expected! The grilled onions & bell peppers were an EXPERIENCE! I couldn’t stop eating, even when I was full. Will definitely be coming here again.

Awesome food, huge portions and reasonable prices. Staff was really friendly and attentive too. Not sure why they had a service charge on top of taxes and still require tips but we still left one. They also have a kitten (named Cally/Kelly I think) that roams around their restaurant area(outside), look out for that lil sweet thing while you are there~~

Brought a charter bus load of high school students here on very short (5 minutes) notice about 7:00 p.m. on a TU night. The staff scrambled to arrange a seating area for us and get our drink orders. They only had two people on wait staff that evening, but they worked hard and did a good job. We had a moderate wait for our food, but that was expected because of the size of our group (41 people). The food was hot, appeared to be fresh, and tasted good; I did not hear any complaints from the students. There were a couple of mix-ups on who got what dish, but it all got sorted out okay. We enjoyed the food, the music and the atmosphere, and the staff was friendly. The dining area and restrooms were clean. I really appreciate this place for accommodating us on such short notice and for making our dining experience pleasurable. Thank you!

I wasn’t sure if the brown guacamole was safe to eat. I probably should have known to check the order for the missing Tortillas when they told me they didn’t have any utensils or silverware in the restaurant – that’s my fault. However, it is El Ranchero’s fault why their fajitas are made with more salt than meat. If you have to eat here, order the refried beans, which I’m fairly certain are the canned beans from Walmart, so they should be safe to eat. The chips were good.
