I was really expecting the burger to be bigger and the fries to be hotter, but I’ve got no real complaints here. I didn’t go to the bathroom so I can’t comment on others’ bathroom experiences but the food tasted good, the older woman at the counter was friendly, and the dining area was clean and stocked with napkins etc.

Feels Like Home Cooking!
Jack’s in Citronelle, AL has become our family’s go-to food stop between Pensacola and our Mississippi lake retreat on weekends. I’m not one to stop at fast food restaurants — I usually avoid chains — but Jack’s feels and tastes completely different. You can taste the quality!
The fried chicken is fresh, juicy, and crispy, and the green beans are my favorite side. My daughter’s milkshake was incredible — it took me straight back to childhood memories. Everything about this place feels like home-style cooking from my Mississippi roots.
What really stands out is the customer service. Every employee smiles, helps, and seems genuinely happy to be there. I met the GM, Dawn, on Sunday and was so impressed by how she handled a simple food-item delay with professionalism and care. She’s a true example of great leadership running a great restaurant.
If you’re in Citronelle and craving real, quality food, stop in and see Dawn and her wonderful staff. Highly impressed — 5 stars for both food quality and service!

Placed our order to go inside so we could use the bathroom and finish our trip to dauphin island.

Everything behind the counter was nasty. We placed our order with 7 people behind the counter. After placing order a young man back in the kitchen with bushy hair proceeded to run all his fingers through his hair then put a sock hat on. The girl running the drive up sat on the counter. Then what looked like the women in charge started doing a jig behind the counter while talking crap to the other 6 workers. Tall man with hat on sideways filled our cups, then handed them to us with soda all over the top and sides counter and floor.
Food: the man that ran his finger through his hair made my sandwich. I watched. When we placed our order they proceeded to cook what we thought was our order, but what we got was what had been sitting there and they replaced what we got with the fresh food. Our food was crap, and tossed it out after headed down the road to Mobile.
Bathroom: it had not been touched all day. Piss all over the floor. No paper in the dispenser, but the roll of paper was on the floor.
I did take a bite of the fries and decided I would never put your food in my mouth again. Potatos soaked in cold old oil will one day mean you find yourself in court.
My take on this is this place should be closed, everone fired starting at the top.
You should be ashamed.

I always have my best experience with this store by ordering from the app. If there is a wait it’s very minimal. Mistakes do happen at times, but they take care of it. I took off one star because an employee was at the window loudly complaining about everyone showing up at once. I get it, but while that can be aggravating for the workers it is something that shouldn’t be broadcast for customers to hear. Otherwise, customer service has always been pleasant.

We’ve eaten at many Jack’s restaurants across the South and love them, those buttery fries? Best around But unfortunately, this Citronelle location has consistently fallen short every time we’ve stopped in
It’s been something every visit; out of food items, napkin dispensers not stocked, dining area messy… and this time was the worst yet. The coleslaw was sour (a customer even returned hers, and they stopped serving it altogether), and our burger buns were stale with hard spots we literally couldn’t bite through

Again, this isn’t a knock on Jack’s as a whole! We truly enjoy the chain, but this location really needs some attention and improvements. We hope to see it brought up to the level of other Jack’s we’ve enjoyed.

Stopped in and grab some dinner on the way through. The restaurant was slammed inside and in the drive-thru. Even though it took a minute to get the food, the manager and the rest of the staff was hustling and they were extremely friendly. Will definitely stop back in again! Keep up the good work!!

I cannot speak to the food or service because the state of the ladies’ room was so bad I didn’t want to think about actually eating food from there. Toilets would not flush. Toilet paper on floor along with questionable liquid. Paper towels & water on sinks.

Been here a few times and it normally takes a little bit but never had a bad experience. Tonight we found something in our drinks and it was in the ice. Like frozen in the ice. Looks like the ice machine needs to be cleaned.
