Great service. Food was good. I had the butternut squash soup. It was ok. It was a new taste for me. I had the stuffed quail. It was cooked well and the rice mushrooms stuffing was good and earthy taste. I thought it clashed with the sweet puree (I can’t think of the name) that was served on the side. The meal was still good and pleasing to the eye. I finished with their banana split. They were heavy handed on the whip cream. After digging down, the ice cream and caramelized bananas were great.

I came here for a happy hour. I tried a variety of small plates and topped it off with Rosé. Best idea ever. The dishes were delicious with perfectly balanced flavors and the service at the bar was awesome.

I recently worked with Jackie in Navy Yard to plan a surprise 30th birthday for my wife, and everything turned out amazing.

From the start, Anya Gellerman, the event manager, made the whole process easy. She was patient, super responsive over phone and email, and helped with every question or request I had.

On the day of, Rana, the General Manager, met me, walked me through everything, and gave us time to set up and decorate. She kept checking in throughout the night to make sure things were going smoothly, which I really appreciated.

Our server, Korey Johnson, was hands down one of the best parts of the night. He took care of a big group with tons of food and drink orders and handled everything like clockwork. He was on top of everything, really personable, and honestly just a great guy to have around. Alona and Julie also helped keep things moving, bringing out food nonstop and making sure we never had to wait on anything.

The private space was perfect, the vibe was great, and the staff and management really went above and beyond. If you’re planning an event or even just stopping in for dinner and drinks, I’d definitely recommend Jackie.

Huge thank you to the whole team for hosting our event, we’ll for sure be back.

Jackie has become one of my go-to spots for a nice sit-down dinner or date night in the Navy Yard. I feel like this place doesn’t get as much attention as it deserves. I’ve been a few times and the food and service is consistently excellent.

They always have a few specials that change frequently, which keeps things interesting. My best advice is to order a pasta dish. I was told the head chef is Italian and that all the pasta is made fresh in-house, which you can absolutely tell. It makes all the difference. Last time I had a special with spinach fettuccine, broccoli, mussels, and shrimp in a garlic evoo sauce, and it was fantastic. The portions are just right — filling but not over the top.

I ordered a cosmo, which was good, and my boyfriend got a mule that tasted flat. It seemed like they might’ve forgotten the ginger beer or used one that had gone flat. Not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable.

For dessert, I had the cheesecake, which was light and fluffy. More like a Japanese-style cheesecake than a dense New York slice.

The vibe here is great too: good music, cozy lighting, an enclosed patio with heaters, a full bar, and plenty of indoor seating. Definitely one of the best spots in Navy Yard. I’ll be back soon.

Came here for Thanksgiving last night and loved it! The restaurant is warm and cozy (Christmas decor was so cute). The Thanksgiving menu was excellent and included a variety of food. The pumpkin soup, ravioli and turkey dinner was delicious. I didn’t think I’d be impressed with the dessert but I really loved their plum cake as well. Drinks were also great. My least favorite was the salad, just because it was a tad too salty but I’m sure it’s an easy fix. I wish I would’ve take more pictures but I am so excited to return and try out other dishes.

What a find! It was our anniversary and we decided to try Jackie Restaurant and we were so pleased we did! Fabulous, friendly staff, especially Tory who made our evening very special with his fun nature and attention to detail. We had the most delicious meal – the best meal we had in our 6 day stay in Washington. We shared the Sea Scallop Crudo which was as pretty as it was delicious. The chef is clearly a bit of an artist as well! We were guided by Tory’s recommendations and we had the Lemon Linguini with Lobster and the Short Beef Rib. Both of which were unbelievably good! The beef was soft and so full of melt in the mouth flavour – no dryness there at all. The buttery mash was as smooth as is humanly possible and was gorgeous and I never had a carrot taste so good! The linguine was freshly made on the premises and the pesto was beautiful – plenty of it too. Thank you for the dreamy Basque cheesecake and thank you for such a stand-out meal and also the stand out service, it really made our anniversary!

I had a wonderful time at the restaurant. Gave 4 stars because it needs more plant based options. Great customer service and great atmosphere. Definitely will come again.
