I am writing to formally complain about an experience I had at your location on 3399 E Pacific Coast Hwy
Long Beach, CA 90755 approximately at 4:15 a.m. on 01-09-26. This would be the third time this happens
Upon arriving at the drive-thru, I was informed by the staff that they were on a “10-minute break” and would not be taking my order. I was the only customer present at the time.
As a customer, I find it highly unusual for a 24-hour establishment to completely halt operations for a break without a system in place to serve waiting guests, especially during low-traffic hours. This resulted in a poor customer experience and a waste of time and fuel.

The lady who works there from 1130 -1200 she sucks. Light skin, brown hair. You say ketchup— she gives you 1!! Packet. She doesn’t check the soda machine so it doesn’t have fiz or flavor. The person before her who was in charge of the mid night shift was better. She looks mean and obviously doesn’t care.

Multiple times, they allow UberEats order to proceed and get to driver. Then when driver shows up at the restaurant, they are closed, even though the restaurant is advertised as being open 24 hours. Apparently they schedule mandatory breaks for their employees and don’t have staff to cover to keep the restaurant open. That’s understandable, but they should not advertise the restaurant as being open 24 hours, and they should not accept UberEats orders. If they are going to briefly close for labor-mandated breaks, they could post signs:
“Temporarily Closed – We Will Reopen at 1:30 a.m.”

This Jack in the Box is a ‘Triple Threat’ to its competition because
1. Best Best All Day Menu! I had the Chili Cheese Burger Combo!
2. Best prices for best food. Their combos bested others $1-3 less 3. Best Location! Atop Pacific Coast Hwy-EZ in & out-Great View
Jack in the Box is arguably Southern California”s best brand burger chain concept-it has more of a foodie & gourmet inspiration than at least the other 5 big brand concepts…if you get there at 11, you can still order breakfast unlike that McIrish brand, and your not paying $10plus for a combo unlike that royalty King brand, and you actually can fit in the drive thru and not wrapped around the block because its the thing to do unlike that ‘IN of the block AND forever
waiting OUT brand,definitely not what a hamburger is ll about. And Jack”s offers a better food product without making you wait forever unlike Carlos Sr. son Carl. Yes Jr. makes you wait forever and youre the only car in drive thru.. Finally Jack’s offer an all- Anerican burger, its round not square on a round bun unlike Cindys or Mindys or whatever Windy weather blows. My perks are you get Tacos at 2 in the morning and everyone else is closed. Me? I enjoyed a gorgeous Sunday afternoon spaciously at Jack in the Box filling up on a combo; enjoying the view and counting my blessings as well as the money I saved not ordering elsewhere

Lady at window could not understand me. Please put somebody at the window who can actually understand the client that is coming to purchase food. I had to go all the way up to the cash window in order for her to understand what I was asking for. Luckily after I left I pulled over to eat my food before I went home and they didn’t even get my order right after that. So I go back pull in and tell the manager that I got they got my order wrong and he doesn’t offer me anything other than I’m sorry. People don’t go through the drive-through because they want to come back inside and have to get the order correct next time offer something I never coming back there.

This is the first place that I HAD to input my order into a screen. No cashier. I told a guy working there “I didn’t fill out an application to work here”. He didn’t think it was funny . But in the future I might have to go behind the counter and prepare my own order.
