This place is efficient and very fast. But when u order at the counter, they charge you higher price than what’s shown in the app so I recommend using the app. However, the app doesn’t show some of the in-store specials. In that case, order separately via app and in-store. I didn’t know they could charge a different price from the register. They will do that if u get an in-store special and to compensate for that, they charge you higher price on the side such as hash brown. That’s how they try to improve profit margin, I think. In the end, total price comes out to be similar to a combo price so it wasn’t worth returning to the store to dispute.
Not only did this place get the ORDER WRONG, the people that work there have ZERO CLUE about customer service.
First, thing they did was say that I ordered from the different place even though the Door-Dash app tells you were the order came from.
Second, they put someone on the phone that barely speaks English? Couldn’t get this ladies name because I couldn’t understand anything she said.
Last thing, the icing on the cake that lead to this review, instead of putting someone on the phone that the customer “ME” could understand, this place decided to switch the calls to their fax machine?
I get that this is “fast food” but you would think with the new pay scale, (“Thanks Gavin NewSCUM”) that the level of service would improve? WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
NO EXCUSE GETTING AN ORDER WRONG!
Well I guess if I can’t understand the so called “person in charge whos name I still don’t know?” MIGHT BE THE REASON WHY THEY GOT THE ORDER WRONG?????
I repeatedly tried to open the door, and every single employee inside saw me but chose to treat me like I was invisible. I had to check multiple times if I had ordered from the wrong location because of their complete lack of acknowledgement. When a customer inside tried to leave, the staff even blocked them as if I were a threat trying to force my way in.
I showed my phone screen through the glass, yet I was left waiting for dozens of minutes while my food sat there getting cold. When I finally received my order, I felt completely unwelcome. This was my first experience of such blatant rudeness and perceived discrimination since moving to the U.S.
The owner seriously needs to reconsider why managers are being paid when they clearly fail to manage their staff or the customer experience.
I expect nothing more than a canned “contact customer service” response, but it doesn’t matter. I have already deleted the app, and I will never set foot in a Jack in the Box again for the rest of my life.
