Ordered 3 sandwiches with combo’s tonight.
It took 20 minutes to get my food and the restaurant was not busy. (I pick up my own food.)
I got home and the fries were room temperature.
They got 2 of the sandwiches wrong. (but I didn’t catch the 2nd sandwich before hauling the first one back to the restaurant.)
And then they messed up the replacement sandwich for the one they messed up.
It should have been a Double Jack with cheese. Only ketchup and onions. They had it in writing. And even with a printed hardcopy of the order…
Faceplant.
I spent so much time dealing with the food they got wrong that the food they got right was cold and nasty.
So. I don’t know what they said to the staff, but it didn’t work.
I ended up getting Rally’s to replace the cold and nasty food that waited at home for me.
Half the time.
Correct out of the bag.
Warm when i got it home
Comparably priced.
It is an additional 3 minutes further down the road. But given that I spent an hour dealing with JiB flavored incompetence tonight, that mileage might have been a prudent investment.
I’d be better served to make the longer trip.
I guess I’ll ask Santa for JiB to swap locations with Rally’s for Xmas.
Until then, Stars get removed from JiB and given to Rally’s

The morning crew is on point. Very few errors and fairly zippy.
The evening crew?
Lordy… Talk about day and night.
I order through the app. So, there is a punch list of everything that should be in the bag.
And every single time I order from this location outside of breakfast, they screw it up.
Missing food
Wrong food
Missing condiments
Half orders
Cold food
Long wait times
I obviously like the brand.
I obviously eat there a fair bit.
I’d obviously love it if they could get their crap together and do their job correctly.
I have to go into the restaurant, open up every item and make sure it is correct and complete.
Last time around, I stood for no less than 5 minutes at the counter before someone bothered to acknowledge my existence. Andnthen i had to wait another 5+ minutes before my food was ready. This was in addition to the 5 minutes it took to drive to the location from home after I ordered the food.
So, with 15 minutes to make 2x burgers, 2x large fries, 2x tacos and 2x drinks, you would hope that they could get it right.
They missed the condiments and substituted a regular coke for the diet coke that was ordered.
I caught the condiments during inspection.
I didn’t catch the Coke, so that went down the drain. (Don’t forget how proud they are regarding the cost of beverages.)
And, I watched people that were ordering food at the drive-through leave with their food before the staff acknowledged my existence…
Do
Better
or just shut down.
If I got to charge back for the labor that I have to spend to make sure that the job I paid them to do was performed correctly, they would have to pay me for eating there.
